Mystery New Dinobot Toy – 3rd Party? Masterpiece?
A video from Chinese micro-blogging platform Weibo has surfaced that shows a prototype of a toy based on Beast Wars Dinobot.
The enigmatic video can be viewed on Weibo here. In it, we see a white-colored prototype of a Dinobot toy transformed from robot to beast mode.
Whilst TakaraTomy did recently hint that 2016 may see the release of more Masterpiece Beast Wars figures beyind just the already-announced Beast Convoy/Optimus Primal, the seeming 3D-printed nature of this prototype suggests that this is perhaps more likely to be an upcoming ‘third party’ release, as Takara typically produces their initial prototypes in grey resin.
