Georgia Ball to Write Robots In Disguise TV Tie-In Comic

In three weeks time, issue #0 of the new tie-in comic for the Robots in Disguise cartoon will debut on Free Comic Book Day. Now, Georgia Ball, who currently writes for IDW’s My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop comics, has revealed that she will take over as the book’s writer from issue #1 onwards. Ball also confirmed on Tumblr that Priscilla Tramontano, long-time Transformers colorist, will continue to serve as the book’s artist beyond issue #0, making for another all-female creative team on a Transformers comic.

Transformers: Robots in Disguise #0 will be available for free on May 2nd, as part of Free Comic Book Day 2015. In addition to a Robots in Disguise story by John Barber and Priscilla Tramontano, the issue will also feature an exclusive Transformers vs. G.I. Joe strip by Barber and Tom Scioli.

Callum somehow managed to avoid Transformers during his actual childhood, but then the live-action films piqued his interest, Animated suckered him in, and IDW's comics made sure he stuck around.
