More From Indiana Children’s Museum – Concepts, Test Shots, and Prototypes

Part of the Transformers display at the Indiana Children’s Museum involves the creation process of the toys. Starting from conceptualization, to design edits, to rapid and resin prototypes, test shots and finally the produced action figure, the exhibit gives a detailed explanation of each step along the way. It also has something interesting for fans that already know the process – some of the prototypes shown are ones that never made it into production! A small handful of Bot Shots as well as Titanium Cosmos greet visitors in their gray prototype glory.
