The Future of the DC Film Universe
Covering today’s Time Warner Investor Day, entertainment website Deadline has revealed the upcoming schedule of DC movies from Warner Bros from 2016 through 2020, as delivered by Warner CEO Kevin Tsujihara.
Next to nothing was mentioned about the films themselves, though the list of titles outlines how Warner plans to round out the DCFU stable of characters. The planned titles include:
2016: Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad
2017: Wonder Woman, Justice League
2018: Flash, Aquaman
2019: Shazam, Justice League 2
2020: Cyborg, Green Lantern
Notably absent from the schedule is the expected adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series, though whether or not that film would be tied into the greater DCFU is debatable at best.
