Diamond Shipping List For The Week Of September 10th

Another light week ahead, with only one Transformers comic listed for release, and one My Little Pony comic. Let’s have a quick look at what to expect in comic stores.

Transformers Primacy #2 is the sole Transformers release. The number of covers may be a tad confusing. Midtown Comics, who we use for our lists,  show Primacy #2 as having only 2 covers, instead of the usual 3. These are labelled as the familiar Cover A and Sub (Subscription) Cover, lacking the usual RI Cover as the 3rd (Retailers Incentive). The Sub cover is listed as having art by Sarah Stone. Now, earlier today we showed you Sarah’s cover for this issue, and it is labelled there as the RI Cover. So it’s uncertain right now as to what the final cover notations will be, and if there will be 2 or 3 covers available. Check on the inside cover of the issue, where IDW lists the issue recap, and shows all available covers for the issue.
Here’s the solicitation info for the issue: DECEPTICONS ASSEMBLE! The war for CYBERTRON begins in earnest! MEGATRON brings together the deadliest of his troops for an unbelievable assault on the AUTOBOTS – and the TRANSFORMERS’ world is shaken to the core! The creative team remains the same, Writer: Chris Metzen – Flint Dille, Artist: Livio Ramondelli
Here are the two covers we know of, at this stage. Cover A By Livio Ramondelli, and Cover Sub/RI by Sarah Stone. Click to enlarge.

That’s it for the week’s Transformers releases. We now move on to the Pony side of things, which is also a single issue for next week: My Little Pony Friends Forever #9. It is listed as having two covers, with Cover A by Amy Mebberson, and the Subscription Cover by Tony Fleecs. Here’s the solicitation info: Granny visits an apple convention and is dismayed to see the Flim Flam brothers are up to their old tricks. Only the two are no longer working together, something has divided the brothers! It will be up to Granny to mend hurt feelings. But will she want to? The creative team for the issue features Writer: Christine Rice, Artist: Tony Fleecs

That’s it for comics, but there are additional products listed, so check with your retailer for availability. These include the Transformers: Age Of Extinction 2015 calendar, My Little Pony 2 inch Mystery Minis by Funko, and My Little Pony 12 inch plush figures, by Funrise Corporation.
See you next week, folks!
