Age of Ultron poster teases first look at The Vision
With the SDCC hype machine running full throttle, Marvel has been releasing two character posters each day, each featuring an Avengers hero fighting off a swarm of Ultron robots. One of todays’ releases gives fans their first look at a new MCU character: The Vision.
When all is said and done, there will be eight character posters by artist Ryan Meindering. When assembled, the pieces form a complete scene, hinting at the intense action fans can expect when Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters next year. It was announced some time ago that Paul Bettany would be taking on the role of The Vision, in addition to his role of Tony Stark’s helpful but sarcastic operating system JARVIS.
Fans have been speculating on two keys points about the Vision. The first is whether or not Bettany’s two roles are connected in some way. The second is what the character will look like, given the many designs seen in the comics since the 1960s. While we’ll have to wait a little longer for the first point to be revealed, today’s poster reveal gives us our first look the big-screen imagining of the Vision.
Oh, and Quicksilver is also on the poster.
