Weird Al Yankovic threatens Mandatory Fun

10260014_10152424776091005_2051907200117205717_nStarted from bologna, now we up… Weird Al Yankovic has shared the cover art for his upcoming album, Mandatory Fun, his first release since 2011’s Alpocalypse. No track listing has been announced yet, so fans will have to wait a little while longer to find out which pop hits Al will be skewering this time around, though the album artwork and a teaser video on Al’s website hint at military themes.

Members of the Allspark community have a long history with Weird Al Yankovic. His song ‘Dare to be Stupid’ featured heavily in the 1986 Transformers: the Movie, and he later voiced the characters Wreck-Gar on Transformers: Animated and Cheese Sandwich on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Mandatory Fun is Weird Al’s fourteenth studio album, and will be available July 15th on CD and via digital download from RCA Records.

Looking forward to the new album? Which songs do you think Al might parody on Mandatory Fun? Join the discussion in our forums here!
