CRUCIFIX SHAPED EXPLOSIONS EVERYWHERE

The Korean “Celebrity News” site KDramaStars.com has announced that through their sources, the “Transformers News Center” (We didn’t get that memo), Michael Bay has slyly confirmed that he will be directing a live action “Neon Genesis Evangelion” movie sometime in the near future and that production may already be in fact underway.

They state:

One of the most popular mecha animes of all-time, Neon Genesis Evangelion is probably going to have a live action adaptation and Michael Bay allegedly is putting his hat into the ring to be the director of the film.

Yes, you’ve read that right. The Neon Genesis Evangelion live action adaptation is probably going to be directed by Michael Bay.

That’s a lot of “probablys” in that announcement.

According to the Tranformers News Center, Michael Bay was asked by journalists if he wants to direct any other franchises after his stint with Transformers and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Michael Bay then responded by saying “I don’t know if you are familiar with ‘Evangelion’ but that’s one movie that I want to direct”.

When asked if Michael Bay is working on the Neon Genesis Evangelion live action movie right now, he just smiled at the journalist who asked him that question.

prod_robot_mainIf you want to assume the site believes this to be true, as opposed to being a randomly generated click bait rumor, I’d guess it’s possible they’ve gotten their wires crossed with the recent announcement regardng the Evangelion MP Prime recently revealed online.

Unfortunately, Michael Bay could not be reached for comment, but stay tuned to this Transformers News Center for possible future updates. Probably.
