The Sounds of ‘DOTM’ & Shia Interview

{mosimage} Transformers: Dark of the Moon is almost out, so don't forget to leave your thoughts at our reaction thread (and please, do use the spoiler tags).

Here, Shia LaBeouf talks a bit about his character Sam Witwicky, who has matured a bit and is facing the obstacles of daily life. Shia also talks a bit about filming on the set, comparing filming in Chicago to filming at Yale in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

And for those looking to be working with sound in TV or film, Soundworks Collection has put up a video showcasing the sound team – Re-Recording Mixers Greg Russell and Jeff Haboush, and Supervising Sound Editor and Sound Designers Ethan Van der Ryn, and Erik Aadahl – on some of the sounds that the general audience will here. Some are traditional, such as having their recording equipment right up close to firearms; while others are rather interesting, like a piece of dry ice on metal.
