Chevrolet’s 2012 Transformers Special Edition Camaro

{mosimage}Chevrolet is releasing a new 2012 Transformers Edition Camaro.  Transformers fans and automobile collectors alike will remember they released a similar special edition Camaro a couple years ago.  This version features some further modifications to make it resemble Dark of the Moon Bumblebee's appearance more.  Check out the specs below:

  • Set to launch on the 2012 version of the Camaro Coupe, the Transformers Special Edition package will be available on 2LT and 2SS models finished in Rally Yellow. The Transformers package includes all the content of the RS package, plus additions like black rally stripes, a unique rear spoiler, 20-inch black painted wheels and Autobot Shield logos.
  • Bumblebee’s color scheme is carried over to the car’s interior, with the car featuring black leather and contrasting yellow stitching. Embroidered Autobot logos are also included on the front headrests and center console lid.
  • Two dealer-installed options are also available – 21-inch black wheels and a black ground effects package.
  • The ordering process for the 2012 Transformers Special Edition Camaro will begin in July, with deliveries scheduled for September. The package will tack on $3,000 to the price of the Camaro.
  • In addition to the United States and Canada, the limited edition Camaro will also be available in China, Japan, Europe, South America, and the Middle East.
