‘DOTM’ Shot/Post-Converted in 3D & Enterplay On Merchandise

{mosimage}While there have been confirmed reports of Michael Bay using full 3D cameras for shooting The Dark of the Moon, some footage will be post-converted to 3D. Moviefone's Cinematical caught up with Vince Pace, director of photography of the Los Angeles unit to James Cameron's Avatar, and Pace said "that's a big challenge because [Michael Bay]'s not the kind of director that's going to give you a break. But he met it halfway and he said, 'look, it complements my product, and I want to incorporate this into my shooting style.'" Nelson at Shoot For The Edit confirms that some scenes will be post-converted.

Second up is Enterplay working with Hasbro on a range of collectibles for DOTM that'll be released around May 2011, courtesy of ICv2.
