More War For Cybertron Peeks

{mosimage}As if the onslaught regarding War for Cybertron hasn't stopped yet. IGN and Gamespot has eyes-on previews of the games, IGN with a look at the Nintendo DS version. On the DS, worked by Vicarious Visions, 15 Autobots and 15 Decepticons, while staying true to the plot points of High Moon Studios' storytelling for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Players can choose two characters and swap one for the other depending on the situation. Prime taking a beating from Megatron and energy running dangerously low? Swap out for Bumblebee, all fresh and ready while the Boss Bot can recharge in the meantime!

Gamespot and IGN both covered the PS3 version, covering on how Optimus, Bumblebee, and Ratchet meet for the first time in the Autobot campaign, plus mentioning the Unreal 3 engine. Although similar to Gears of War, with notable exceptions. Gamespot went in depth on one mission that involves Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp, and how the Seekers' jet mechanics comes into play, such as strafing, hovering, and boosting mechanics (which were inspired by Crimson Skies).
