Lorenzo di Bonaventura Talks Transformers 3, Unicron

{mosimage} In an interview with IGN, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, producer for the Transformers movies, talked a little about Transformers 3, as well as shared some of his feelings on some of the negative reaction to astf — and of course, the Twins. It seems as though timing is the big item of debate right now for Transformers 3, and it appears that timing will also ultimately settle whether or not Michael Bay will be the director.

"As the producer I'd certainly love to see him back. I can't imagine Transformers without him. I guess the studio will see it sometime as such a big asset that they are forced to do it, but Michael has never intimated anything like that – the timing is the big question for him, not whether he is going to do it or not."

Also, di Bonaventura is hesitant when it comes to Unicron. Including the galactic gargatuan would effectively remove the humans from the picture, and that's something that the producer doesn't want to see happen.
