What is the Secret of the Mysterious O-Part?

{mosimage}Hello Allspark.com Readers,

My name is Professor Daichi Onishi, but you may call me Dr. Onishi, or simply "Kenneth".  Recently, while excavating a Mayan tomb near Chichen Itza, my team of Archaeological experts uncovered one of what we refer to as "Out of Place Artifacts", an oddly-shaped metallic object which we presume to be part of a set.  While objects of this type occur relatively commonly in ancient times, due to cultural exchange, we believe that this particular artifact is of decidedly un-Mayan origin.  We were amazed to discover that it reacted in a completely unexpected way when placed near one of our research computers– the following file was somehow uploaded into the hard drive of the laptop.  Click "Read More" to view the image.  The alarming image was sent to the world's premiere scientists, and I've been in contact with none other than Dr. Brian Jones of Yale, Dr. Fujiyama of the Nihon Artificial Intelligence Conference, and Dr. Matthew Arkeville, the world's most reknowned cyberneticist.  None of them has the faintest clue of the origin of this piece.  Do you?

[Editor's Note: we've also got an ongoing discussion for Onishi-sensei's note here.]
