HASBRO’S TRANSFORMERS TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE TOYFARE HALL OF FAME

{mosimage} Hasbro's Transformers toy line will be inducted into the ToyFare Hall of Fame at the Wizard World Philly comic convention this June! The longevity of the line as well as its increasing pop culture and collector appeal pushed Transformers over the top for the award.

Few other toy lines have enjoyed the same evergreen success that Hasbro’s Transformers has over the past 25 years. Transformers toys debuted in 1984 alongside the highly successful animated series. This first generation of Transformers media introduced the world to pop culture icons Optimus Prime and Megatron, two characters that would become mainstays throughout the line’s many iterations. Whether going by Beast Wars, Transformers Armada or the original Transformers, this toy line has continually impressed and delighted fans of all ages. The Transformers line reached new levels of success after 2007’s blockbuster "Transformers" motion picture from Dreamworks Pictures and Paramount Pictures in association with Hasbro. The highly anticipated sequel, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," will be released June 24th.
