Spielberg Staying with “Transformers” Production

{mosimage}When the announcement for DreamWorks being it's own company on splitting from Paramount came, many fans questioned whether if director/producer Steven Spielberg (who created DreamWorks with two other partners nearly 15 years ago) would leave the production of Revenge of the Fallen. Well, while DW has more or less finally partnered with India's Reliance, Spielberg will continue as producer for Revenge as reported by Nikki Finke's Hollywood Deadline Daily in a press release.

The majority of existing DreamWorks staff is expected to be offered positions at [Reliance]. All other projects currently in development will remain at Paramount with the opportunity for the Reliance-backed venture to co-finance several projects to which Mr. Spielberg is attached.  In addition, Mr. Spielberg will continue to produce the Transformers franchise for Paramount and will also collaborate on three other Paramount films including, "When Worlds Collide."

So fans can relax on Revenge's status, and read here for the original news and press release.
