Paramount Offering $10 Rebate on Selected Blu-Ray Titles

{mosimage}UPDATE: If the IGN review of Transformers on Blu-ray still hasn't convinced fans, then Blu-ray.com's review may persuade you to pick it up come September. However, picking it up is entirely up to preference, be it one having HDTV that supports 1080p, the HD-DVD version, and/or a Blu-ray player (be it an actual one or the PlayStation3).

Home Media Magazine.com and CdFreaks.com reports that Paramount's offering a $10 rebate when consumers upgrade selected Paramount and Dreamworks titles to Blu-ray. The mail-in certificates will be in packages of Blu-ray titles such as Transformers, The Godfather, Sweeney Todd, and various others. Receiving the savings is done by filling out the certificate and mailing it off with the Blu-ray receipt and proof-of-purchase tabs from both DVD and Blu-ray versions. Qualified titles have to be bought by December 31st of 2009, and postmarked by January 31st of 2010.
