Nike Transformers Pack Sneakers Out Thursday

{mosimage} No, these aren't the Japanese Nike Free toys–the upside is, you can wear 'em, the downside is, you can't transform 'em. First announced back in February, it looks like the real-life Nike shoes "inspired by" the Transformers will finally see the light of day this Thursday. Aptly-named Allsparker A Bathing Transformer points out a page on FreshnessMag.com with images and details of the limited-edition "Nike Transformers Pack" due in fancy kick-stands everywhere tomorrow, August 9.

In addition to the previously pictured Nike Trainer III "Optimus Prime," the set also includes Air Max 90 Boots and Air Trainer Huaraches in color schemes based on unidentified, but certainly Decepticon, Transformers. Oddly, Prime seems to have lost the yellow laces and Autobot logo shown in the February images, accomplishing the seemingly impossible task of making these even weirder licensing tie-ins.

Check out FreshnessMag.com for the details and images, and discuss in A Bathing Transformer's thread!
