Rock ‘Em, Sock ‘Em… Lollipops?
Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots has always been a Mattel product, meaning that our chances of ever getting an official Transformers version were somewhere in the range of nil to zilch. This is still the case, but a recently discovered pair of lollipops, found at a Toys "R" Us in Washington state, brings us one step closer to having some form of punching robots. "Punching Pops", distributed by Hasbro's candy subsidiary, Cap, feature the likenesses of G1 Megatron and Optimus Prime, along with a spinning sucker sprouting from these great warriors' heads. You can see Freyabeads's post on the 2005 Boards unveiling the candy here, and discuss it on our forums in Night Viper's thread here.
