This week, one will be on comic shelves and one will be in Cincinnati... Transformers writer Simon Furman has updated his blog with a little teaser of IDW's Transformers Spotlight: Grimlock. The comic book will serve as a sequel to Spotlight Shockwave telling what happened to the Dinobots after they became entombed in a molten lava flow! Grimlock wakes up in modern times, angry at himself (and therefore everyone else) for possibly dooming the other Dinobots. And his fury may just put him in the position to side with a cerebral Decepticon who is looking to get a head in Decepticon politics...

Sean Long has stopped by again to give us another video review, this time on Animated Activators Bumblebee. Check out this throw back to the Beast Wars flipchangers:
Word about this exclusive came out a little while ago, but now we have images! Ultraconvoy has posted a few images on the 2005 boards of this year's San Diego Comic Con exclusive. As the early information suggested, this figure will be the Classics Optimus Prime mold repainted as Nemesis Prime/RID Scourge! So the standard evil Prime colors apply; black, gray, silver and teal. All of which come across quite nicely on this mold!

Last week we reported about the upcoming Toy Hobby exclusive Henkei! Henkei! Transformers Seeker. Well apparently the report should have been about Seekers and not Seeker. Because ganbo-store.com will have their own exclusive as well as Toy Hobby. The identities of the two Seekers remain a mystery. Could it be the infamous Skywarp & Thundercracker? Could it be variations of Starscream? Could it be an all new character or scheme from the cartoon never released as an action figure? Only time will tell.
Thanks to Ricochet of TFW2005 for the news and Bete Noire of the Allspark for confirmation. You can discuss this news on our boards.
Star Wars Transformers Wave 7 has been spotted at a Target in Orchard Park, New York. This wave of figures consists of Clone Pilot (ARC Trooper)/Republic Gunship (Repainted ala Clone Wars) and Obi Wan Kenobi/Episode II Jedi Starfighter. So Clone and Jedi fans keep an eye on store shelves, these figures are out now!
Klaus Scherwinski proves himself to be a master artist, living up to a task that is the hardest. He has taken on an IDW Spotlight; the colors, art, and even the words to write! Now we get a chance to see his work, off to Chris Ryall's blog we go lurk! He has posted a three-page preview; one made of sketches the artist drew. At five of these pages we'll get a look in the final printed comic book!

We had seen two of his modes, but his tank mode remained elusive...Well, not any more! A member of ACToys.net has posted a few images of Blitzwing's alt modes, both of them! So no you can see what he looks like as a plane and a tank, and maybe get an idea of how he transforms!

Are Animated figures breaking free of the Cincinnati test market? Allspark member Mattstfgraveyard is reporting finding the Animated Voyagers from Wave 1 at a Toys R Us in Madison, Wisconsin. Fans familiar with that part of the country will know that that is roughly 7 hours from Cincinnati, which makes a shipping error seem very unlikely. Who knows? Maybe the next time you walk into TRU, you may be facing Wave 1 of Animated!

It looks as though TakaraTomy will be adding another Seeker to it's Henkei line-up, although as an exclusive to Toy Hobby. Details right now are limited, and will remain as such until May. So until then, it looks like all we have to look at is a silhouette of the Starcream toy. What does that mean? Skywarp? Thundercracker? Sunstorm? We'll have to wait until May to find out!
