Fans at Botcon, and those watching from home, may have been wondering what Sidswipe's Minicon was called. For those that have read the comic, they know that it's Whisper! That's right, the Micromaster has now become a Minicon! And one that's not afraid to tote a load of bombs bigger than himself!
And as with all things Botcon, you can discuss this news here!
Botcon has officially started, and now we have images from yesterday's display of the upcoming Club exclusives, the at-con figures, and the at-con figures' bios!

He's yellow, shiny and has a new head. Sort of. Sean Long has stopped by with a video review for Transformers: The Movie Premium Series Bumblebee, and in it he shows off the different head and the new paint details!
Hasbro has posted on their Transformers page with a brief update from Cincinnati. The news post gives a little more information about the Transformers Animated toyline as well as a few new images! Pictured are Supreme Optimus Prime, Leader Megatron, Deluxe Soundwave, Voyager Grimlock, Battle Begins 2-pk, Optimus Prime Shift Tech Game, Power Bots Bumblebee (Similar to Cyber Stompers), Activators Lockdown, Optimus Battle Blaster, and Bumper Battlers Jazz (similar to Cyber Slammers). They also say to keep an eye out for future updates, including G1 homages for the toyline!
We're not sure where it came from, but it was published at some time in the 1980s, and apparently went through the proverbial wringer before reaching our hands. And, our sources say, it's not a comic that was released in the US, the UK, Europe, or anywhere else-- of THIS Earth. We believe that it originates in our own "Shattered Mirror" universe, where Trans-Maniacs rooted for the noble Decepticons to win their struggle with the savage Autobots.
Unfortunately, all we have of this alt-universe masterpiece is a few mockup copies of the cover, which we will be distributing to you, the Allspark readers loyal enough to have registered for our Break-Fest celebration tomorrow morning at the Newport Aquarium in Cincinnati, Ohio. While we have not received the final printed collateral, our sources have approved this grainy sneak preview for all of you. And if you aren't lucky enough to have scored a spot at the Break-Fest celebration on Friday, chances are our sources can be convinced to let us show off this lost piece of Transformers history.
NOT a dream! NOT an imaginary story! (Except for the part where it is) We will be bringing you coverage from both Break-Fest as well as Botcon 2008 throughout the weekend! You can discuss the news here on our forums.
Sean Long dropped by with another video review, this time for Universe Classic Series Sunstreaker! He shows off the packaging, both modes, the weapon, transformation, the automorph gimmick, and has a size comparison with Classics Bumblebee, Rodimus, Movie Bumblebee, Barricade, and Universe Prowl and Tankor!
After years of breaks in security, with those pesky Decepticons slipping through your defenses, now you can finally beef up your perimeter and hold the bad guys at bay! Ehobby has announced the release of an Omega Supreme repaint, based off of the guardian robot from the G1 animation!

FantoFan.jp has updated its ordering page with a new image for the upcoming Binaltech Arcee release. The image shows teal as the secondary color rather than pink, which mimics the typical Paradron Medic recolors of Arcee that we got in the G1 cartoon and the Superlink toyline! So now your injured Binaltech/Alternators don't need to rely on Wheeljack's engineering skills, but can see a real medic instead!
Click here to see the order page, and here to discuss the image. Thanks to Redwolf of the Allspark and Tober of TFW2005 for pointing it out!
