We've seen Guido Guidi's sketch for IDW Publishing's the cover of All Hail Megatron #2, but now writer Shane McCarthy gives us a look at the inks as well! The stark black now makes the cover even more sinister, and really makes you wonder what Soundwave is doing to that other 'bot. Nothing good, that's for sure.

S.Trent Troop and Greg Sepalek team-up once again to bring you an all new prose style Transformers story! The two writers are joined by another name familiar to Club members, Matt Kuphaldt, who did the art for Withered Hope! This time they go back to the Unicron Trilogy and bring you a story straight from Transformers Cybertron! Longrack's team of Autobots have a mission given to them by Ultra Magnus himself, but will that mission end in catastrophe as they stumble upon something buried on the aptly named Apocalypse Planet?
Click here to see the story on the Transformers Collectors' club homepage. That's right, it's available to everyone! You can then discuss the story here in Trent Troop's thread.

This page offers looks at the Protoform comet mode, Protoform robot mode, post-scanning robot mode, car mode as well as all of the "armor" pieces that attach to form the latter two modes. So for those of you still on the fence, this is a good way to explore the figure before you make your decision!

We've seen the faces, now comes an image of the full body and jet mode! An auction for Transformers Animated Blitzwinghas been listed on eBay with images of all three faces again, the robot mode and the jet mode. Unfortunately, the tank mode isn't pictured, and the jet mode may be slightly mistransformed, but it's still a good look at the figure nonetheless!
Click here to see the auction, here to see just the image, and here to discuss them. Thanks to Wishful Thinking for the link!

A message from Fun Publications' Brian Savage has been posted on the Hong Kong-based Talk.Transformers. The message is a warning for sellers not to put up auctions for the leaked Botcon Shattered Glass figures. These figures were stolen, and as such should be returned to Hasbro or Fun Publications. It has been explained in other postings that these figures come straight from Fun Publications' order, which means that each toy taken is one less that will show up at Botcon. So with the convention sets already sold out, this may be something that will end up affecting convention-goers directly.
Click here to see the message, and here to discuss it. Thanks to warpscream and Tformers for pointing it out. |

Peaugh over at TFW2005 has posted images of a Transformers: The Movie Voyager Prime with gold chrome covering most of the toy. As fans well know, such figures usually end up as prizes in Lucky Draw or other similar contests in Japan. What information Peaugh was able to get able the toy seems to corroborate this; there will be a total of 10 of the figures made for a Japanese release.
You can see the original report here, and we'll report it as more information about these figures becomes available! |
