It's no secret that Transformers: The Movie was a big fat hit on home video, and next month, they may have the awards to prove it. It turns out that for almost twenty years, an organization called "The Home Entertainment Association" has been giving out something called "The Home Entertainment Awards." EMA member retailers and distributors vote to select winners in 20 categories based on sales/rentals and studio support. Transformers ties Harry Potter for the most nominations this year, in the following categories:

• DVD Extras of the Year
• High-Definition Title of the Year
  
• Marketing Campaign of the Year
  
• Sell-Through Title of the Year from a Major Studio
