Transformers Animated character designer Derrick Wyatt has updated his Delightful Tedium blog with a small bit of news. The new entry is all about the Wraith super hero character that appeared in IDW's Transformers Animated Arrival #2, and where the inspiration for his design came from--Hannah Barbara's hero characters!

Yizhi521 of TF08.net has posted a new image of the upcoming Voyager Class Transformers Animated Wreck-Gar in vehicle mode! The image gives us a good look at the one thing he's good for; garbage! Or rather hauling away garbage.

Amazon.com now has a listing for "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen" under the category of Mass Market Paperback. The book will be written by Alan Dean Foster, writer of the novelization for the first movie, and is said to be 304 pages. Lastly, it looks like we can expect the novel to start hit shelves around May 26th of next year!

IDW writer Chris Mowry has updated his blog with some information on the next Movie-verse story from IDW, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Alliance. In addition to the brief bit of information for this series, he also posted a preview of the cover for the second issue of the series drawn by Josh Nizzi! Alliance will be written by Mowry, drawn by Alex Milne, and the first issue should be on shelves December 17th! Mowry also says to expect a 5-page preview of #1 soon.

Not quite "missed" model sheet but that it couldn't fit into either volumes of "The Ark". Jim Sorenson, the guy who helped bring both volumes of "Transformers The Ark", containing animation model sheets from G1 to Zone so far, has a new blog where he'll occasionally update with stuff that couldn't make it into the Ark.

Amazon Canada has a new listing that is tentatively "Transformers Movie Omnibus" TPB for 2007 Transformers. From the page count, it's more than likely that it'll contain: the movie prequel, movie adaptation, both Target and DVD exclusive comics, and "Reign of Starscream" (that was recently released in TPB form). Release date at May 29, 2009, although subject to change.

Elizabeth Snead at LA Times' The Dish Rag has gotten a couple minutes of words with Revenge of the Fallen actor Isabel Lucas on her role. Lucas admits that the character she plays is a student, as well performing minor stunts, but regarding certain rumors, nothing mentioned about that.

Hasbro has updated the Transformers game section of their website with a new Transformers Animated game. The game is the third in their series of Robot Builder games, and allows the player to mix and match parts from various Animated characters to make the ultimate Transformer warrior...or a hulking monstrosity of mismatched parts!
