Pete Sinclair of Fun Publications has sent over an update on the Transformers Collectors Club Labor Day sale going on now!
BotCon and TCC toys have always been hot items, and one of the very few items we still have in stock is about to sell out due to our great Labor Day sale!
There are only 5 Descent in to Evil loose sets and then they are gone for good!
Also, we are running a special on Astrotrain/Airrazor. Only $65 for BOTH figures. That is a HUGE savings!
Finally, in addition to some other great toys on sale, be sure to check out the 2010 BotCon Lithograph and Black Light Poster. Both are on sale at $7.50 each.
Depending on where you live (Labor Day in the US, meaning a Thursday release), Drift #1 is out! For those that haven't picked up their copy yet, IDW has released a 5-page preview of the bi-weekly mini, showcasing Drift as his time as Deadlock and his leaving of the Decepticons. Also, colorist Josh Perez has posted up the clean versions to the first five pages and Guido Guidi's variant cover at his deviantART gallery!
A rumor has surfaced from Toyarena and TFormers that the Hasbro release of the upcoming (and awesome) TakaraTomy MP-9 Rodimus Prime / Hot Rod will not feature the Rodimus Prime trailer / Mobile Defense Bay. This could be likely due to the size of the figure if it included the trailer. The rumor also mentioned that the Hasbro release might come with the Targetmaster partner Firebolt instead. Whether this rumor proves true or not is unknown. Also unknown is whether the figure would retain the Rodimus Prime face or not or if it would feature any other changes as most Masterpiece figures have in the past.
