I do like the champagne colored legs on the US one, though I prefer the more natural silver of the JP one. Though the red on Takara's is a bit too dark.

Photos of GT Prime and Saber. They look really good! Disappointed there are no comparisons to the Alternity though.

These guys are kind of the perfect storm of expensive. Exchange rate was lousy when they were solicited, come with a new Microman figure, and are slathered in more paint than a Sherwin Williams store.

Gonna enjoy having 'em, though.

Me too. I got them from HLJ for around $76 (had a 10% discount off of their initial discount).

I don't think there is a single thing I prefer about Hasbro's Blaster.

I mean, I guess I'd prefer to pay Hasbro's price for Takara's product, but that's unrealistic. Takara's is better to the point where I feel justified in paying for it.

I think the only thing I dislike about the deco on Takara's is that they kept the forehead red and yellow. I'd have much preferred it be silver, but that's an easy fix.

Seeing them side-by-side, I'm struck by how much more I like that weird metallic champagne color the US Blaster uses for its legs, which is not something I would have guessed. Obviously all the added trim is nice on the Japanese version, though I don't especially think the red roof is a huge improvement (or detraction).

I was immediately in awe of that when I got him. That was a really smart deco choice, just wish he had the black on his feet too.

I'll put SW's bio up when I get the toy tomorrow.
Since there was no US equivalent to base it on,
it was a totally original creation of mine.

I'd be interested to know why the Takara TF team decided to go with such a light gray over dark gray or black when all the other FoC stuff from Takara is so close to the game colors.

When his rare ability to teleport gained him membership among the Seeker battalion, Skywarp was anticipated as a young and capable new recruit. Unfortunately, his deceitful personality proved to be a character flaw, and his skills would be used only for idle trickery and practical jokes. By appearing suddenly and attacking his opponents from behind, he should be able to upstage even Starscream in combat ability, but he soon loses interest when not under the command of Megatron. In order to improve his concentration and sense of responsibility, he has been ordered to complete a training regimen in Circuit-Su.

The deco, especially when viewed fom behind, really evokes Cyclonus. Score one for the CISAIB folks?

Would that mean that Skywarp would have been forced to train under Bugly?

Thank you!

So much better an improvement over... this:

To sell the ability of a rare teleportation for TRANSFORMER
SKYWARP which entered JETRON(SEEKERS) was expected as a young influential person.
However, mean character to use his ability in vain became the serious defect.
In attacking an outcome, an enemy suddenly from right behind
He shows fighting power to be equal to STARSCREAM.
However, conduct of MEGATRON
If there is not it, SKYWARP gets rid of a motivation immediately.
He is ordered to receive special training of circuit Su so that the body gets a sense of responsibility and concentration.

I think the concept of being educated and being able to educate is something that more people need more of in their lives.

No, we don't all know everything but we should spread and share that what we do know.

If I'm consistently misspelling a word, I would want and expect people to correct me as should I imagine all decent people who know the value of good literacy.

Its just arrogant laziness to know you're spelling a word incorrectly and not correct yourself or ignore the advice when people do tell you how to spell a word correctly.
