@  MEDdMI : (01 May 2016 - 05:22 PM)

didn't know the reference before searching, but the Lizard Queen & fermentarium thing are from Simpsons. https://en.m.wikiped.../Selma's_Choice

@  Smokey : (01 May 2016 - 04:53 PM)

What the hug's a fermentarium?

@  Verno : (01 May 2016 - 04:34 PM)

'Dawn of the Predacus' not your cup of tea? Try TRANSFORMERS: UNITY for your BotCon 2016 comic.

@  MEDdMI : (01 May 2016 - 02:14 PM)

...... *MED's hand appears in the fermentarium, getting closer to TMM, along with the Jaws theme*

@  TheMightyMol... : (01 May 2016 - 01:19 PM)

I wasn't going to go in naked, but it rotted off all my clothes. And then I was already in anyway, so......

@  Paladin : (01 May 2016 - 12:32 PM)

for the last time, stop swimming naked in the fermentarium.

@  MEDdMI : (01 May 2016 - 09:17 AM)

I bring you fresh crickets and worms, my Queen. Your basking lamp is ready for you afterwards.

@  Autobot Bubbs : (01 May 2016 - 09:13 AM)

I AM THE LIZARD QUEEN!!!!!

@  Locoman : (01 May 2016 - 08:59 AM)

I still want a cheetor figure that actually looks like the version we got on the tv show.

@  zephyrX9 : (01 May 2016 - 01:15 AM)

my salt in not getting victorion has turned into salt waiting for TR rewind to go up for preorder. ho-hum

@  Verno : (01 May 2016 - 01:05 AM)

Given how TM Megs suffers from GPS, I'm sure many people would jump at a reissue.

@  Pennpenn : (01 May 2016 - 12:32 AM)

Out of all the hypothetical Beast Wars things, the one I'd like is a leader class Transmetal Megatron

@  Verno : (30 April 2016 - 11:18 PM)

They'd make a superb duo. If TT drew the line under BW MPs after those two, I'd be perfectly content.

@  Smokey : (30 April 2016 - 11:15 PM)

I personally hope we get an MP BW Megs, especially if he has a rubber ducky he can hold, yeeess.

@  Verno : (30 April 2016 - 11:13 PM)

Bring on October and MP Primal so the anniversary celebrations can begin.

@  Smokey : (30 April 2016 - 11:06 PM)

oh hey lok its tecs birthday

@  Smokey : (30 April 2016 - 11:03 PM)

It certainly has, man. If it wasn't for BW I probably wouldn't be here.

@  Verno : (30 April 2016 - 10:15 PM)

Yeah, I threw a link in the Beast Wars Birthday thread. I'm keen to hear as many thoughts on it as possible. The last month has proven just how dear to the hearts of fans BW is.

@  Smokey : (30 April 2016 - 10:04 PM)

I looked at it a few days ago, actually, I saw you post it somewhere here on the forums.

@  Verno : (30 April 2016 - 09:43 PM)

No, they're certainly after their own ends. Cheers for taking a look at it, Smokey. I appreciate it.

@  Smokey : (30 April 2016 - 09:36 PM)

Well, at least you twisted things around so the Tripredacus council aren't minions of Unicron.

@  Verno : (30 April 2016 - 09:30 PM)

With Primus and Unicron, it was my aim for it to double as a celebration of the 30th anniversary of TF:TM.

@  Smokey : (30 April 2016 - 09:27 PM)

It's... Better than Dawn of the Predacus, at least. I could do without the whole Primus v. Unicron thing, that's been done to death.

@  Telly : (30 April 2016 - 09:25 PM)

i went off when i saw unicron

@  Patchouli Kn... : (30 April 2016 - 09:04 PM)

You shall not pass.

@  Touch My Thighs : (30 April 2016 - 09:01 PM)

Pass.

@  Verno : (30 April 2016 - 08:09 PM)

Read my Beast Wars 20th Anniversary comic book pitch to IDW -- TRANSFORMERS: DEICIDE

@  Telly : (30 April 2016 - 08:00 PM)

like paladin says, bbts and the like probly have them (or will get them soon) but are waiting for the hasbro release date before putting up pages

@  Paladin : (30 April 2016 - 05:10 PM)

something about street dates I think...

@  Pennpenn : (30 April 2016 - 10:25 AM)

Any particular reason it's not available in some of the ones I see more often like BBTS and TFSource and so on?

@  unluckiness : (30 April 2016 - 09:55 AM)

Might want to wash your hands after handling the toys if you order from the latter.

@  Paladin : (30 April 2016 - 05:48 AM)

Victorion is also listed in-stock here http://www.ajstoyche...tset_p_102.html and here http://www.poopoopan...Set_p_4832.html

@  tffan01 : (30 April 2016 - 05:42 AM)

@summer, I was wondering why it looks like an ordinary TF group instead of being about TFWiki.

@  zephyrX9 : (30 April 2016 - 12:18 AM)

ok so either ages three and up sold out of victorion or their system is confusing so i guess im getting computron instead. rip my dream of ladybots everywhere

@  Summer : (29 April 2016 - 02:07 PM)

The TFWiki Facebook group has long since been abandoned by the actual TFWiki moderators, and there's little to no affiliation with the actual site.

@  Paladin : (29 April 2016 - 07:58 AM)

Willis needs to make rent again?

@  Foffy the Sheep : (29 April 2016 - 06:46 AM)

Oh, are the Titans Return leaks up on there, too?

@  NightViper : (29 April 2016 - 06:41 AM)

Holy jive! So much porn spam in the TFWiki Facebook group!

@  Foffy the Sheep : (29 April 2016 - 06:34 AM)

SAVE THE BUNNIES!!!!

@  MEDdMI : (29 April 2016 - 05:59 AM)

I know I said I like steely buns, but I didn't literally mean buns made out of steel!

@  Foffy the Sheep : (29 April 2016 - 05:20 AM)

Alligators are really scary, because they can eat you. But you know what's even scarier than alligators? Flying alligators. With laser vision. Scariest environment imaginable.

@  Foffy the Sheep : (29 April 2016 - 02:24 AM)

Rook has a very firm butt. ;)

@  Foffy the Sheep : (29 April 2016 - 02:20 AM)

But his butt is down there, and that's what I want to look at.

@  TheMightyMol... : (29 April 2016 - 02:19 AM)

Rook's eyes are up here, Foffy.

@  Foffy the Sheep : (29 April 2016 - 02:14 AM)

Obviously. Rook couldn't very well win the swimsuit competition while he was stuck being a leg, now could he?

@  TheMightyMol... : (29 April 2016 - 02:12 AM)

....of joy, because he's no longer stuck holding up a heavy combiner and can now go do his own thing?

@  Foffy the Sheep : (29 April 2016 - 02:09 AM)

You hear that? That's the sound of Rook crying bitter, bitter tears.

@  Telly : (29 April 2016 - 12:58 AM)

my deluxe groove has shipped! soon i will have defensor the way he is supposed to be!!

@  Dracula : (28 April 2016 - 09:09 AM)

All I can say is their preorder and invoice system seems to work fine.

@  Dracula : (28 April 2016 - 09:09 AM)

Oddly I just placed an order with them this week. But I haven't received the item (Victorion) yet, so I can't really give you a review

Going off of something someone mentioned earlier, I actually do have to wonder if the character in question being female has anything to do with the people reacting negatively. No one really seems to care about all the stock dumb male characters in shows (of which there is a LOT).

Personally I'm more offended by people using the word "*scrubbed*(ed)" to refer to someone mentally handicapped. That word has come to be an actual general insult.

Well, all the definitions say it being stupid or looking *scrubbed*, not to actually referring to one being *scrubbed*, just stupid or an expression. I can see the confusion here.

there's an argument to be made towards 'willful confusion' at this point.

I always took it to mean more along the lines of a brief moment of stupidity, i.e. a "brain fart" or just doing something stupid without realizing it. Not as a condition...

"Derpy", in this case, is named after a particular expression that assumes mental retardation. It's the whole reason they named her that to begin with. "Derp" is used for more than just a sound or stupid action.
This is not at all my understanding of the word Derpy.

People do bring up a valid point, why is this the only cartoon character getting treated like this and not the others with more screen time?

In general, I'd welcome the creators just leaving fanon alone. Sometimes, when a series takes a fan joke or theory and makes it canon it can work. However, as soon as FiM gave even a hint of doing this the obsessed parts of the audience decided every little bit of fanon/fanfiction they created is canon by default. Bad enough as is but not helped by the number of half baked ideas it generated. In any other fanbase, you'd be laughed at/ignored if you tried to argue your fanwork was legitimate. FiM fans instead seem to think they're being added to the series bible as they plop them out and when the show DOES acknowledge them, it only feeds the ridiculous sense of entitlement.

UPD: just encountered an example: http://www.reddit.co...hvd6/its_canon/
You find it funny and see it as a joke? That's right. But some people don't. They actually think it is reference to the fanon about Fluttershy being portrayed as Dovakhin. It sounds stupid, but that's the whole damn point.

I just read that Reddit thread-thingy, and no one is seriously saying "Dovahshy is Canon". You try to use this as an example of Fans deciding canon that doesn't actually exist, but your interpretation couldn't be more wrong. I feel just a little bit insulted that you'd expect anyone to take that as a serious example. You do realize that most things that declare "So and so is CANON" aren't serious declarations of fan belief, right?

Also, "You must be new here"? Really? When you're not wildly misinterpreting things, maybe you can condescend to us. And even then it's a jivey thing to do.

If nothing else, I would have hoped the fact the show ignored the fanon take on Luna would have been an eye opener to some. If you don't personally think there's a problem with this stuff fair enough. But don't call someone delusional when they've been around long enough to see fans actively arguing the fanon for this show somehow becomes canon because of a few nods to say thanks to the fans for being supportive.

The fact that people can be so defensive about a show about cartoon ponies staggers me.

Even shippers, arguably the hardest core of fanon subscribers, are usually joking when they say something like "OMG it's canon". No, it's not just "we see what they're saying as a joke" kind of joke, it's that they themselves actually mean it as a joke or are being facetious. Almost nobody thinks their fanon has a genuine place in the show; they just subscribe to those things they find enhance their own personal enjoyment. And personally, I don't give a flying feather one way or the other, as long as they're enjoying the bucking show.

So you point to something that's a joke, and reference other people that feel completely differently. Pretty bad point you're making here.

You're delusional because you are seeing something that's not there. How long you've been around isn't really relevant.
