What on this board could possibly be triggering ads for "Cougerlife" (other than my now referencing it). Most times the ads seem relatively straight forward like the ones for actual, electrical transformers or the education ones even... But is there a forum I don't know about where we all talk about hooking up with older women? icon-fire.gif

I do try to do my part and click a banner from time to time but I can just imagine THAT conversation with the missus.

Or worse still, am I the only one seeing these ads? O.o

Back to basics

I get credit cards, Fisher-price infant stuff, and Transformer/3rd party sellers. No cougar stuff here.

I think there's a thread in Politics and Religion about how a school had to stop calling its team the Cougars because it was considered disrespectful to horny women over 50.

That might be it.

I've been seeing the cougar life ads days before that thread popped up.

They were around long before that thread.

This is a forum where grown men discuss children's toys, video games, comic books, and cartoons... it doesn't exactly take an advanced algorithm to target that kind of advertising.

I don't really like them personally. I think the new car and blockbuster movie ads are the best.

Order your Guardians of the Galaxy tickets from now until August 4th from Fandango and you not only help The Allspark, but you also get entered in a chance to win original movie props from Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers movies.

All I ever seem to see are "DATE ASIAN GIRLS" and the likes.

Because apparently, happiness with a significant other is determined by ethnicity.

You're far too young to be this bitter and angry at the world....

I'm reading that with Roy's voice. Heck, I read everything you post in a laconic Irish accent.

What we need is a dating site that specializes in Asian Cougars. With Hand Lasers.

I was laughing about it the other day. I had a CougerLife ad for a couple of threads, then switched to a new thread and got an ad for Chuck-E-Cheese. Google has decided that a site full of toy-loving manchildren would like nothing more than to take their older-woman dates out for some pizza and skiball.

Though, to be honest, my wife (who is actually a bit younger than me) have been on many Chuck-E-Cheese dates, so maybe Google does know me pretty well.

There's only one way to find out - might as well click on the ads sometimes to see what their deal is. icon-hotrod.gif

No offense to Kal, but I don't see the Google ads thanks to Adblock. I did donate a little in the last server drive so hopefully that offsets my bad karma.

I've seen the Cougar-Life ads for weeks now, and for months I've seen "Oh My! So many dresses!", which is the one that cracks me up the most.

Transformers is a brand that really has something for everyone. We are a darn lucky fandom.
