His big scene in the big Astrotrain battle for leadership was also great. Too bad Starscream suckerpunched him after he beat everybody else up

Of course he has. I mean, remember when Trailbreaker had to pretend to be him in Masquerade?

@  Plokatron : (28 May 2016 - 11:18 PM)

Transfer Uplinks look cool but in the wrong hands could be OP. Hmmm Just a funny thought what if Mainframe from G1 had a TU? He could make about anything period. Also does anyone know if CatSCAN ever received a spark? His wiki article says he is a spark less build when he was created surly he has one now.

As an UK expat, I have to say I miss the actual thrill of hunting in stores as frustrating as it was when distribution was bad. I feel spoiled for choice in America in comparison lol.

@  Steevy Maximus : (27 May 2016 - 04:48 PM)

And depending on where you live, even American stores

@  wonko the sane? : (27 May 2016 - 02:59 PM)

Or canadian stores, or australian stores, or german stores...

@  Bass X0 : (27 May 2016 - 02:14 PM)

at least you got the exercise. i ordered all of them online. there's no point in being a serious collector if someone is only going to rely on using UK stores.

@  Whirl Maximus : (27 May 2016 - 02:13 PM)

This day last year I walked five miles to Asda to collect all the Defensor components. I was a dumb kid.

The one I go to gives me a discount on each issue's cover price. I still have to go there to pick up my comics but I'm sure I'll never miss any of them

@  Dracula : (27 May 2016 - 07:26 AM)

Plokatron, I don't think many comics companies do direct subscriptions like that anymore. However many local comic shops will reserve comics for you in a subscription fashion.

@  Foffy the Sheep : (27 May 2016 - 06:46 AM)

I have a friend who is one of the illegitimte comics trivia masters on the planet, and he says all the animation was hand-drawn by Muppets.

@  Scavgraphics : (27 May 2016 - 04:21 AM)

@Telly I got a friend who's one of the legit comics trivia masters on the planet. I've asked if he knows.

@  Plokatron : (26 May 2016 - 10:35 PM)

Been wondering and I'm probly being a complete slag brain and not notice whats in front of me. But does IDW have subscriptions available on their site? I'm thinking of signing up for monthly comics and Transformers is da one.

@  unluckiness : (26 May 2016 - 09:01 PM)

No idea, but I'd guess it'd be some in-studio job otherwise, given the obssessiveness nerds can have over about 50 years, we'd know by now.

@  Telly : (26 May 2016 - 08:54 PM)

does anyone know who did the "animation" for the 1960s batman show? been wondering for years and i cant find an answer anywhere. looks to me like either jack kirby or john romita

I didn't previously know it was possible to look at a comic full of Generation 1 characters and say "That comic is not Generation 1!" I look forward to seeing the mock up they work out.

Prepare for disappointment then, because he's now been warned to drop the damn subject.

Well, I do believe that every toy in the Power Core Combiners line has been given new, non-stock-photography toy images.

Still have to update most of the pages to add the Walmart multipacks, but still.

Oh, yeah. Can anyone get me a hi-rez, clean image of PCC Huffer with a YELLOW hood in truck mode, similar to the one as it appears on his page? I'll edit it all together, but I want the variant on his toy image.

I've just got one final exam to take this week, and then I'll have the next 3+ weeks available to work on the Wiki.

I'm definitely going to create a page for a piece of merch I've uncovered (a flashlight set that was available this past Halloween), and hopefully will get some photos I took (the Ring Pop and the contents of the Prime Style gift pack) transferred over to my laptop so that I can hopefully get everything hosted.

I also mean to get a bunch of my Half.com stuff shifted around so that I can pull my old comics out of storage; if I can do that, I can start updating the "advertisements" sections and finish fleshing out a few of the G2 articles I wrote.

Anyone want me to touch anything up while I'm at it?

The Transformers brand article keeps freezing by browser. I'm using Opera 11.10. I don't know what it is, but it's only this article and it's been happening since yesterday.

I tried it in the version of Opera I had (9.something) and upgraded to 11.60, and it worked in both. Maybe it's something they fixed between 11.10 and 11.60?

Question - when it comes to the wanted pages, is there any particular order in which people would prefer the articles to be tackled, or is it simply catch as catch can?

They're ranked in order of how many pages link to them, which does give a vague sense of how important each one is.

That's why I'm asking.

A lot of the top bits relate to either Dreamwave's run or IDW's run.

I have virtually no Dreamwave issues, and nothing from IDW save for a single TPB and some Free Comic Day titles.

As such, whenever I look at the Wanted Pages list, I have to probe around until I find something to where I actually do have the item on hand, at which point I'm down to pages that have only a small handful (no more than 5) of pages linking to them.

Dead links are bad. Fixing any of them is good. No one will yell at you for fixing less common dead links even if more common ones still exist.
