A great acquisition for the HUB network! I can't wait to DVR all the eps and watch them with my younger brothers who have barely seen any of it!

That's cool. but Sadly, the Hub isn't available in HD on Dish, so It's not worth the extra $10 a month to get it.

Please Check out my G1 Overlord Auction!

The Hub seems to have quite a few good shows, both new and classic. The unavailability of it seems to be a common complaint I've seen around, though; it's a shame they can't focus on making themselves easier to subscribe to through various, more basic, services. Not everyone with children are wealthy enough to afford these luxury cable packages that The Hub seems mostly to come in.

This is awesome news. I'm almost through watching the entire series, which I haven't seen since it went off WB all those years ago.

Batman: The Animated Series, back when FOX Kids had god programming like this, the original Power Rangers, and Spider-Man.

Why does the HUB have to be a subscription channel where I am? Darn you, Discovery Channel!

I wouldn't really include Power Rangers and Spider-Man under the category of "god programming".

New channels like Hub always tend to get the higher package deal becuase they aren't well known, and theoretically less people would want them. When the channel gets more widely known and popular, then it will be moved to better tiers becuase there is better demand for it. Stuff like Disney and Cartoon Network used to be in the same position as The Hub currently is.

Around here it's actually only available on the 3rd, top tier market. Along with 1001 sports channels. So if you order it, you're ordering it for the sports, and do you really think the adults are gona let the kids run the remote?

Not that big of a deal for me, I've already got all of DCAU on DVD.
I had a better signature... then it ran away. MLP card trade list. MLP blind bag trade list.

Is "1001 Sports Channels" just some kind of labelling/brand, or is it really sports channels 1000 in excess of what I'd want? Indeed, probably 1001 more than I'd want 97% of the time.

Exaggeration, its more like 200-300 sports channels.

Seeing as how basic cable usually already comes with about 7 sports channels.....yes.

I'm only able to afford the cable package with the Hub on it because I split the cable bill with my two roommates. In about a year, when I move out on my own, I probably won't be able to afford cable period, much less the luxury packages.

So I'm enjoying all the robots, Joes and Ponies I can while it lasts.

As for Batman TAS: awesome. Now here's hoping the Hub doesn't edit it for content like Toon Disney did when they reran the show. I don't think the Hub's broadcast of Batman Beyond got any cuts, so I presume Batman TAS will make it through unscathed.

Ah, and I bet this time it won't have the edits here and there that TAS got on Disney XD. Yay Hub!

I wouldn't include both in "good programming", either.

Haha, they kind of pulled a Dragonball/Toonami, showing the future series before the original.

Eh, I have most of that series on DVD (only volumes 3-4 to find, as the hungarian company releasing them has gone bankrupt). It's my favourite cartoon ever, and I re-watch the episodes every few years. I can't see "Heart of Ice" enough times...

Still, if the Hub finally comes to Europe, I'd probably break my "no TV" rule and subscribe. If only for MLP-FiM. icon-hotrod.gif
