@  unluckiness : (28 July 2016 - 08:38 AM)

I kinda like Fire Guts Sentinel Prime TBH. Though, I think the gray would have looked better as black.

@  Boomhauer : (28 July 2016 - 08:36 AM)

I would've been fine with the Bayformers 3 Sentinel colors, he looked slick.

@  Whirl Maximus : (28 July 2016 - 08:33 AM)

Same as Animated Sentinel Prime then, I bet he's a Functionist fundamentalist too!

@  Rycochet : (28 July 2016 - 08:07 AM)

Sentinel Prime's colour scheme is awful, they should have painted him in his animated deco, comics be damned.

@  Dracula : (28 July 2016 - 07:38 AM)

He's also orange

@  Paladin : (28 July 2016 - 07:23 AM)

kinda not enjoying my TR Sentinel Prime now that someone summed up his personality as "Make Cybertron Great Again."

@  OrionPax44 : (27 July 2016 - 04:51 PM)

Sounds pretty kinky.

@  Whirl Maximus : (27 July 2016 - 04:17 PM)

the wind blew the sun into the river. honest!

@  Vexwing : (27 July 2016 - 12:34 PM)

Sadly no orchestra for me, but we did have the TFA clip as well.

@  ChessPieceFace : (27 July 2016 - 12:17 PM)

I saw Weird Al at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, playing with a full orchestra. It was pretty special. And yes, Dare To Be Stupid! With an introductory video clip from TFA, no less.

@  Vexwing : (27 July 2016 - 11:33 AM)

Got to see Weird Al perform Dare to be Stupid in his set last night! That was a nice surprise.

@  LBD "Nyt... : (27 July 2016 - 01:40 AM)

TMW you see a bunch of people have liked something you posted while you were away, and you're like "what did I even say?!"

@  Bass X0 : (26 July 2016 - 05:26 PM)

Regarding MTMTE#55 being released early in some places, its okay to discuss the contents of the issue as long as spoilers are kept within the thread. I refuse to read discussion threads of comics I have yet to read to avoid being spoiled. I also find it pointless to go into a discussion thread and expect to not be spoiled if you have yet to read the issue (unless you don't care).

@  The Doctor Who : (26 July 2016 - 07:11 AM)

@Patchy 'cause people like how the kaiser rolls!

@  MEDdMI : (26 July 2016 - 05:47 AM)

I'm officially addicted to the Comics theme. Every other themes are dull and boring now, I can't stand to look at them for more than a few posts.

@  Broadside : (26 July 2016 - 03:59 AM)

"Beast Wars anniversary"? Highly dubious.

@  Patchouli Kn... : (26 July 2016 - 12:16 AM)

How come everybody wanna keep it like the kaiser?

@  zephyrX9 : (26 July 2016 - 12:16 AM)

@  ▲ndrusi : (25 July 2016 - 08:35 PM)

beast wars dicketeth anniversary

@  Locoman : (25 July 2016 - 07:16 PM)

My story begins in nineteen-dickety-two. We had to say "dickety" because the Kaiser had stolen our word "twenty". I chased that rascal to get it back, but gave up after dickety-six miles.

@  Telly : (25 July 2016 - 05:21 PM)

Mayhem is, somewhat ironically, one of the least random parts of the board. I really don't know how that happened.

@  NotVeryKnightly : (25 July 2016 - 06:34 AM)

Not even close.

@  MEDdMI : (25 July 2016 - 05:51 AM)

What, Mayhem isn't random enough???

@  NotVeryKnightly : (25 July 2016 - 04:02 AM)

This place never feels random enough in that respect.

@  TheMightyMol... : (25 July 2016 - 02:10 AM)

I thought that was snarking at random strangers without fear of retribution.

@  NotVeryKnightly : (24 July 2016 - 07:22 PM)

Topic-specific threads are the main feature of messageboards like this, you know.

@  NotVeryKnightly : (24 July 2016 - 07:21 PM)

You should ask that in the TFWiki thread.

there's a pewdiepie video promoting Transformers Earth Wars and it is an official promotion video, does this mean he should get a tfwiki page?

@  ▲ndrusi : (24 July 2016 - 07:01 PM)

I thought King Kong '05 was pretty great! I just wish I hadn't watched it as a double feature with that movie about the island with the giant bugs.

@  tffan01 : (24 July 2016 - 04:46 PM)

yeah it was long as hell, it took me several days to finish it.

@  Paladin : (24 July 2016 - 11:58 AM)

maybe this new one won't take half a day to watch all the way through...

@  tffan01 : (24 July 2016 - 11:00 AM)

I believe this new Kong movie will not be as good as the 2005 one.

FP added a bunch of images to their DeviantArt page: Link

The most interesting things are perhaps exclusive toys that were rejected: Fangry from BM Beast Changer and First Aid from Cybertron Red Alert. Personally, I'm not too disappointed that they never saw production. Nonetheless, I'm glad to get a chance to see them.

Holy crap that transtech Depth Charge is awesome.

Such a shame we'll never get a toy of it.

Fangry is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. First Aid is a nice idea until I remember that I hate Cybertron Red Alert.

First Aid is pretty much just Red Alert with the red and blue swapped. Too similar to the original toy for my taste.

Fangry...I don't know. It works pretty well, but it seems like it would take a nasty plot contrivance to explain why he doesn't have a robot mode any more. Maybe he's could hang out with Icebird and friends.

That Fangry is possibly the worst thing ever. I see where the idea comes from, but no. That's almost as bad as the time Jeremy trolled me by saying they showed off a Mindwipe/Skullcruncher hybrid from Mutants Soundwave at Botcon.

I too prefer Fangry to Red Alert, plus its a mold that's not been used half a dozen times.

I had doubts about First Aid since it's making an ambulance out of a figure which is basically already an ambulance, but it's sufficiently different enough to get a pass. Also Walky is crazy and the mold is fine.

Fangry is pretty much a perfect use of the mold. Change nothing.

Walky's guessed right. That was my explanation of the lack of robot mode when I pitched the idea to Pete.

I rule.

And yeah, have to agree I can live without this Fangry. The "winged wolf" mode is pretty great, but once you go past that point and have to shoehorn the rest of him into working by using story explanations... Eh, almost just as soon skip it at that point.

First Aid could have worked decently with a more different vehicle mode deco than what Red Alert had, which we're not seeing here so much since this is a super quick concept work using a Red Alert as a base.
