He's bought too many toys, now he's gotta play with them all! All aboard the Astrotrain! *choo choo*

Oi, you lot! Treat!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with bird, and the Word was bird, and bird was the word, and everybody heard.

bird is the word?

@  Locoman : (20 October 2016 - 09:50 PM)

That's probably the bird, isn't it? That laid the eggs! Livid!

As an outsider, whether Trump wins or loses, the results are bound to be hilarious. Not so much for Americans but you just know the most ridiculous things he will do are yet to come.

@  SHIELD Agent 47 : (19 October 2016 - 08:49 PM)

Donald Trump is a firetrucker.

@  Liege : (19 October 2016 - 07:37 PM)

Anyone else having problems watching hulu tonight? The app isn't working on both my wii u and ps4.

@  MEDdMI : (18 October 2016 - 09:17 PM)

I have a tablet that runs on Wi-Fi only, with all the hotspots or sharing data off my cell, it's hardly ever an issue. Just need to be careful where you connect and what you do on said connection.

@  Arazyr : (18 October 2016 - 08:23 PM)

I've considered it.

@  Waspinator : (18 October 2016 - 08:22 PM)

Sounds like you might want to look into tablets with data plans.

@  Arazyr : (18 October 2016 - 08:20 PM)

It's not even the data plan that would be the problem for me. I'd probably use the hug out of a data plan. It's the VOICE plan I can't justify. 8^)

@  Arazyr : (18 October 2016 - 08:19 PM)

I have an iPod Touch and a "dumb" flip-phone on a pre-pay plan. I put $100 on it once a year, and never use it all. I'd love to get an actual smartphone, but just can't justify the expense.

@  TM2-Megatron : (18 October 2016 - 06:37 PM)

The Moto phones are a good low-price option. I bought my mom a Moto E (her first cellphone, smart or dumb) and she's been really happy with it.

@  Waspinator : (18 October 2016 - 06:18 PM)

I've been looking at the Moto G family, personally. Seems like a good way to get a cheap one.

@  TM2-Megatron : (18 October 2016 - 05:59 PM)

For a long time I thought a tablet was good enough for me, and was pretty firmly in the anti-smartphone crowd. But after getting my first one (a Nexus 5), I became a convert pretty fast

@  Waspinator : (18 October 2016 - 04:56 PM)

Probably going to give in on that soon, though

@  Waspinator : (18 October 2016 - 04:56 PM)

I've got a cheap tablet and an old dumb-phone, been too stubborn to pay for a data plan

@  D Immortalis : (18 October 2016 - 03:47 PM)

i dont even own a cell. =]

@  MEDdMI : (18 October 2016 - 03:14 PM)

My cell is about 5 years old. It barely stays alive without any apps running.

@  Gizmoboy : (18 October 2016 - 02:45 PM)

I still play every day. As for what's the point, that's a good question. I still enjoy taking gyms and leveling up my Pokemon though. I'm at 134 on my Pokedex though so I've almost got them all. :)

@  Dracula : (18 October 2016 - 02:41 PM)

My phone hates PoGo, but I still boot it up sometimes, and my wife and several friends are still playing regularly

@  The Doctor Who : (18 October 2016 - 02:34 PM)

I uninstalled it because it kept giving me "app has stopped working" errors even while it wasn't running. It wasn't something I was playing much anymore anyway.

@  Locoman : (18 October 2016 - 02:23 PM)

You'd think that all they need to do to re-invigorate the app would be to start putting in Pokemon from the second generation.

@  TheMightyMol... : (18 October 2016 - 02:21 PM)

I poke at it once in a while. Kinda forget about it a lot.

@  Benbot : (18 October 2016 - 02:02 PM)

Is anyone still playing Pokemon Go? I am, but I don't know why. What's the point of this?

@  TheMightyMol... : (18 October 2016 - 01:14 PM)

The only genderless Pokemon that can learn Attract are Cryogonal and Mew. And Mew can learn every TM anyway.

@  Dracula : (18 October 2016 - 12:57 PM)

Can't any Pokemon learn Attract? It would just fail no matter what.

@  TheMightyMol... : (18 October 2016 - 12:43 PM)

Cryogonal can learn Attract. It's genderless. What.

@  unluckiness : (18 October 2016 - 09:41 AM)

between 229 - 383 at level 100 depending on IVs, nature and EVs

@  Paladin : (18 October 2016 - 09:39 AM)

@  MEDdMI : (18 October 2016 - 09:26 AM)

@  unluckiness : (18 October 2016 - 09:25 AM)

Yes, even male ones.

@  Paladin : (18 October 2016 - 09:17 AM)

what about Gogoat? they can also learn "Milk Drink"...

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (18 October 2016 - 09:03 AM)

Also ate F'fetch. And no spoilers for me either please.

@  Pennpenn : (18 October 2016 - 08:43 AM)

The fruit from Tropius is apparenlty edible.

@  unluckiness : (18 October 2016 - 08:18 AM)

Yeah, that one's firmly established by the dairy farm in GSC

@  Locoman : (18 October 2016 - 08:17 AM)

@  Paladin : (18 October 2016 - 08:12 AM)

and there's at least 1 in-game store in XY that sells ice cream. what exactly are they milking in order to get that???

@  unluckiness : (18 October 2016 - 08:07 AM)

No, all they eat are jelly donuts.

Development of Mirror's Edge 2 has been "stopped" by EA.

A team at DICE showed EA a prototype that was "declined", according to a Eurogamer Sweden translation of a Press 2 Play TV report.

"Patrick [Soderlund - EA driving and shooting game boss] acknowledges that Mirror's Edge didn't match up to their expectations regarding sales, and that has stopped the sequel that has been in development," declared the report, published originally in December.

"EA was shown a prototype, but declined with askance. The project has been stopped - involved parties at DICE are working on something else now. Patrick himself seems to have Mirror's Edge near his heart, but they are not in the business of charity."

Presumably the extra development is going into Battlefield 3 - EA's well publicised attempt at wrestling shooter supremacy from the Call of Duty series.

Patrick Soderlund confirmed last summer that "a small team" at DICE was 'on' a new Mirror's Edge game. Eurogamer pressed him on that point last November.

"Mirror's Edge is an IP that's close to my heart and EA's as well. It was a bold move from us. I'm proud we made it. It obviously didn't reach the commercial success we wanted, even though it wasn't bad at all," he said.

"I still think as a company we're going to talk about it when we're going to talk about it. What I can say is, we haven't buried it. We're absolutely continuing to support Mirror's Edge as an IP. When we're ready to talk about it, we'll talk about it."

EA Games boss Frank Gibeau went on record a few weeks later to say that the execution of Mirror's Edge "fell short". "There were issues with the learning curve, the difficulty, the narrative, and then there was no multiplayer either," he said.

Man, that's a bloody shame. But, given how nearly everywhere I went a few weeks after it's release, I should have expected that/

"Whether it's directly or not, you prey on others to live. That reality never changes."

I thought it was ok but I think Assassin's creed does much the same thing better.

yup it was definitely the lack of multiplayer that killed it, a half assed online mode would've made the game sell like gangbusters. damn executives.

Sarcasm aside I generally liked the first one and was looking forward to the second so this news sucks.

I thought it was ok but I think Assassin's creed does much the same thing better.

It wasnt that AC did it better per say but it did it easier theres a comic from some website out there that has a perfect example of that. In ME with 4-5 button presses youd get up a wall where as AC basically boils down to hold A. Which wouldnt really have worked for ME if it was that simplified and when you got moving properly it was awesome but that system was completely unforgiving.

That said i was really hoping ME2 would have fixed some of the issues or atleast toned down the complexity but what are ya gonna do. Maybe 14 years from now someone company will make that sequel, hell anythings possible now a days.
