In my heart of hearts, I know... IT NEVER ENDS!

@  Kalidor : (31 August 2016 - 03:17 PM)

I'm tweaking things. It's a never ending process

@  Paladin : (31 August 2016 - 01:22 PM)

i'm getting "Our Amazon Picks" on the sidebar; haven't seen that before...

@  NotVeryKnightly : (31 August 2016 - 09:41 AM)

The top banner seems to disappear and reappear for me.

@  Arazyr : (31 August 2016 - 09:24 AM)

Whenever I want to go to BBTS or TFS sites I make sure to use the banner ads here. 8^)

@  Dracula : (31 August 2016 - 08:25 AM)

Speaking of ads, I have adblock turned off for allspark and I've noticed the top banner ad on the forums tends to be broken. Today I don't see it at all. Might just be me though.

@  Kalidor : (31 August 2016 - 01:28 AM)

Clicking on ads and visiting sponsor links helps keep the lights on, if you want a cheap and easy way to help.

@  Plokatron : (30 August 2016 - 07:25 PM)

Whoop I'm back and been a way for a while. But I'm back and I'm going to try to stay with the forum more often. Also to anyone interesed I just made a update to my Sprite topic http://www.allspark....shop/?p=3325815

@  Bass X0 : (30 August 2016 - 01:10 PM)

Peter Ostrum should return in a new Chocolate Factory movie where Charlie Bucket is the 60 year old owner planning to pass his Chocolate Factory to a lucky child as Willy Wonka had done for him all those years ago. Obviously it wouldn't be based on any existing story, just a new continuation of the original without being a remake.

@  Bass X0 : (29 August 2016 - 01:30 PM)

Duckman is indeed better than Beast Wars.

@  Telly : (29 August 2016 - 01:12 PM)

well i went to dollar general looking for the beast wars dvd. didnt find them. but i found something BETTER: seasons 1 and 2 of duckman!!! and for only $2.95!

@  Bass X0 : (29 August 2016 - 01:05 PM)

And Aloha Darth Vader is a Fairy type.

@  ▲ndrusi : (29 August 2016 - 09:54 AM)

Yeah, and Alola Form Sith are fire-type.

@  Touch My Thighs : (29 August 2016 - 05:37 AM)

Some regional variations actually have some cool headdress-type things instead of the black hood.

@  Rycochet : (29 August 2016 - 05:20 AM)

Sith Robes? Really?

@  Kalidor : (28 August 2016 - 09:48 PM)

Most google ads base their content on sites you've visited - so you're probably visiting a lot of news sites.

@  unluckiness : (28 August 2016 - 09:33 AM)

What, you don't find Sith robes attractive?

@  Pennpenn : (28 August 2016 - 09:26 AM)

Anyone else getting Muslim dating sites turning up in the ads? I mean, talk about mistargetted adverising...

@  Telly : (27 August 2016 - 11:21 PM)

gonna have to take a trip to dollar general in the next few days

@  Steevy Maximus : (27 August 2016 - 09:26 PM)

Seriously, Shout Factory's Beast Wars Season 2 and 3 4 DVD set was at Dollar General for 2.95

@  Robowang : (27 August 2016 - 09:15 PM)

Whaaaaaaaaaat

@  Steevy Maximus : (27 August 2016 - 08:29 PM)

Why no, I'm not adversed to getting Beast Wars Seasons 2 and 3 DVD set for 2.95 (At Dollar General)

I want to see this but have heard bad things, but it looks good in previews so I'm torn. Anyone havea non spoiler review? Seth Green doesn't seem like that much of an action hero uy to me.

Well it's a bit too heavy on Seth Rogan and Kato kicks all kinds of butt. Really the best things in the movie is the car and Kato. I could really lose Rogan and be happy with it.

Kato fails. Considering they're following the role in Bruce Lee's footsteps, a cantopop "star" that relies on CGI and wires was easily the worst direction to go in.

You're far too young to be this bitter and angry at the world....

im confused. why didn't Kevin Smith direct this? he's been wanting to do it for years. and yes I know I at one time he was going to do it but then dropped out. But he's worked with Seth before in Zack and Miri make a porno. I think this a missed opportunity for both.

However, its decent.

Which is the point of the Green Hornet. You could lose Hornet and just focus on Kato and it'd be awesome. It's a product of the times really.

If you're going to criticize in a jerkish way, you should get it right. Jay Chou is from Taiwan and is a very influential singer/songwriter, and as far as I know, writes and sings mostly in Mandarin and not Cantonese (Cantopop meaning basically Hong Kong)--you know, since he's Taiwanese. He's not known as an actor and he's made a few duds in the process (Kung Fu Dunk...ouch), but that doesn't put his "star" status in any kind of question. It's pretty immature to just poo-poo something simply because we can't get the original ever again. In the realm of Bruce Lee remakes, both Jet Li and Donnie Yen have turned in fine interpretations of Chen Zhen in Fist of Legend and New Fist of Fury (Yen also just did Return of Chen Zhen last year), respectively, without tarnishing anything. Give Jay Chou a chance.

I haven't seen it, but CGI and wires doesn't necessarily mean Kato won't be cool. How many recent great kung fu movies HAVEN'T used CGI and wires, for that matter?

Well, that's the thing. He dropped out precisely because he didn't want to direct; he doubted his ability to. So his script sat in a drawer. Then Rogen turned in a script, and during the search for a director Smith was probably never even a consideration.

How do you figure? Other than Bruce Lee being the most memorable part of the TV show (and for stuff he did after the show, for that matter), Kato has never really dominated the franchise.

Rogan is the reason why I didn't go see the movie. Don't care much for him; he's like a slightly skinnier Jack Black.

And the trailers made it look like a self-parody, anyway.

PS - The movie was horrible. You can tell that Gondry hated his time on set and that Rogen had way too much creative power over the direction the movie took.

That was a hell of a fun flick. Reminded me of Ghostbusters in tone - a no holds bared action comedy with a great style to it. I really enjoyed it.

It's a pretty fun movie. It could have been a great movie if Seth Rogen wasn't in it. He just quite franky sucks. Not as bad as Will Ferrell or David Spade (Just go away. Both of you. Go away. PLEASE!), but still pretty low on to good actors list.

I did like that it was about an incompetent hero. Car was cool. Liked the door guns.

P.S. - Green Hornet was a radio show first, so why is it in the comic section? I'm not sure if there's even is a comic...
