Who?

And why remake it? I could see a remake in another 10 years, but the films still hold up fairly well as is.
Clearing out some old TFs and Mugenbine in my BST Thread. You know you want some of these.

The thing is so set on time I don't see why a new one would have to be made.

Would a new one have him travel back to 1980 or something?

Too bad it doesn't look like we'll have flying cars in the next 5 years like BTTF depicted in 2015 in the various films.

They exist, but they aren't anything as awesome as what was in the movies.

In Britain, you will not be hearing news about upcoming movies in any newspaper more upper class.

Edited by Bass X0, 26 August 2010 - 11:36 AM.

It all began in '84. Kept on rollin' in '85. The pieces were in place in '86, and it came to an end in '87. But now it comes, and here we go. Transformers is here again. Nothing's gonna stop it 'cause it's 1988!

Goes to teh future, realises that a 2 years of mediocre fame isn't worth the life time of stalkers and creepy death threats: goes to the past and convinces himself to get a real job.

The idea of the movie being remade doesn't irritate me nearly as much as the fact that it'll be aimed at teenage girls.

The original movie holds up fine after a quarter of a century. There's no need to remake it.

Why remake a movie that's not even that old, and already brilliant? And why the hell would anyone cast that hugtard in anything?

It's 25 years old.

Besides, anything made before 2000 is considered 'old' these days, thanks to the rise of 'tween culture.
Being part of any fandom is fundamentally embarassing.

Because their rellying on a "popular" name (who the hug is she already, and why should I care?) to fill seats instead of original and innovative storytelling, interesting premise and genuine and attractive visual effects.

It's the same problem thats faced the movie going public for the better part of the last decade: No new ideas and no good actors.
