Watched it this evening. I loved it. I'm not sure what to think about the Joker's VA though. I'm not used to the Joker being so...subdued. But in any case, I loved it.
Problem though, I know there's a co-worker of mine who's going to ask me about it tomorrow and I'm not sure what to say. I mean, I loved it. But my very first Batman graphic novel was "Death in the Family." So I know who Jason Todd is. But I'm not sure how much someone would enjoy it if they have no idea who Jason Todd is. Not sure how much they'd enjoy it if they don't at least have that bit of info. Any way, I'm definetly going to have to find some way to recommend it. It's just way too good.
Oh, and one more thing. This fall, Superman/Batman Apocalypse? Retelling Supergirl's introduction story (which I also have that graphic novel too)? Kevin freaking Conroy? Summer Glau? They had me at 'hello.'
They defictionalized Ryncol. All is right with the world.
