Mystery as spiral blue light hovers Norway.

And several other pics.

The LHC hit record energy levels last night. 2.36 TeV collisions. Make of that what you will.

If it's the Jem Hadar, we're so screwed.

In all seriousness, that's really freaky. The sci-fi nerd in me is running through all sorts of excited speculation right now.

The responsible thing for me to would be : "I have no hugging clue what it is."

Could be some sort of magnetic thing, though.

Same here, but all the homemade youtube vids started to sway my opinion. I mean, if it's fake, it's fake.

Besides, 2012 is already out in theaters. Why use viral marketing now? icon-hotrod.gif

Clearly, it's Aliens arriving for Obama's UFO disclosure tomorrow.

-edit-

Wait.
Holy crap.

Obama's going to Norway tomorrow. To receive his Nobel Peace Prize. Which is when this nutcase said disclosure what happen. Which is where inexplicable spiral lights are taking place. The day before.

Holy crap?

Phil Plait has a post about it over at his blog "Bad Astronomy"

edit: For the tl;dr people. It's showing the signs of a rocket going out of control.
