This link was shared in another thread but I figured it warranted discussing here as well.

1. MP-12 Lambor - 27 Oct 2012 Release, 5,800Yen
UPDATE: More info about MP-12 -
- Vehicle mode will be painted. Paintwork overseen by Lamborghini.
- Fits in MP-10 Convoy trailer
- Accessories: Piledrivers, flare gun, missile launcher
Price isn't much more than some of the Binaltech were (Convoy was 5,500 Yen).
I wonder if the Rocket Pack will be included and they're just not revealing it yet? Since Convoy is getting a re-release around the same time.
The fully painted car mode is going to look great and I think this is likely something a Hasbro version would lack.
I do wonder if his missile launcher will be all white (like the cartoon) or if it will have some black.

The BBTS price is looking really good!
Officially licensed Lambo...opens the door for alot of cool stuff, considering Volkswagon owns Lamborghini.

This pretty much sold it for me, just Pre-ordered Sideswipe, Red Alert, and Soundwave.
So happy to hear about all this.

No rocket pack? Ah well, no big loss, I guess. Still would have been cool, though.

Wow, he's going to be barely bigger than a deluxe to fit inside Prime's trailer.

The picture in the first post shows how tall he'll end up.

Want, just not sure I want to pay import prices on both SS and RA, especially if Hasbro releases the two. Hard choice to make!

I hope IF Hasbro does Red Alert they make him toy colors, as I'm sure TakaraTomy will opt for cartoon colors (TT's logic being the cartoon is easily available to watch for new and old audiences while the original toy, and reissues, are harder to come by).

When did Sideswipe use pileddrivers?
Several times: S.O.S. Dinobots and A Plague of Insecticons come to mind.
Also, Pre-Ordered!

Some pictures and instances of Sideswipe using his pile drivers.

Great job, Randy. Now you've got me worrying they'll pick the wrong Piledriver design to use (the correct answer is, of course, SOS Dinobots).

You've got to assume that a model sheet was never drawn up for Sideswipe's piledrivers, since they never appeared the same way twice. I've always preferred them as they appeared in "Dinobot Island" - as actual piston-ing back-and-forth jackhammer heads, instead of nubs on his arms that he smacks things with.

Yeah hopefully they look like pistons of sorts.
I'm still hoping a rocket pack is included.
I imagine Red Alert will include the Pile Drivers as well, since he's MP-12A and not MP-14 - like Sunstorm including Starscream's coronation gear (unlike we have another MP-8 to MP-8X).
