Yea,I know this is old news but I would encourage anyone who missed out on the originals to pick these up if you see them.I was fortunate enough to find all 4 figures,(Optimus Prime,Bumblebee,GN.2 Megatron,Starscream),at my local DG and they are just as good as the first issue figures even with the different paint apps.The other major point is not only can you find all 4 at the same time,you dont end up paying the $10.00 to $20.00 per figure that secondary markets have them listed at.

The Bumblebee is a unique deco, too. Similar to the TRU-exclusive, but with enough differences to drive the completists to Dollar General....

I think Optimus and Starscream have normal painted faction symbols instead of rub signs.

Starscream also has a full black head. I think he and Optimus are identical to their Chronicle releases.

Saw them at two different Dollar Generals while I was hunting for the DOTM Mini-Cons (which I'm starting to see as a lost cause). Left 'em.

I don't think I've seen Minicons at Dollar General. Just Big Lots and Family Dollar.

I bought the Generations Mini-Cons (Panhandler and his bunch) at a Dollar General last April. I figured it was worth checking there.

I really should buy myself a Bumblebee, especially since the last time I was there they were marked as 25% off. As for Mini-cons I've seen a few here and there at one of the Dollar General stores I've visited but other than the dragon one I can't remember what other ones I've seen there.
