I suspect it's just a product of the photos, but the gold limbs look really close to the original color, and so it hits less like Cannonball and more like Bulkhead with a Cannonball-branded t-shirt. But again, I'd have to think the gold doesn't skew that close to green in reality.

What kind of gold paint did you use? It looks fantastic. I have an unfinished Cannonball made from CD Red Alert and I used Model master Gold and It doesn't look too good. It looks like you had painted it a tan and then gave it a dry-brushing.

I used Citadel's yellow foundation then went over that with Model Master's Brass.

If I had to point out a negative it would probably be that I'm not crazy about those bright yellow headlight trims. I realize his Cyberton lights were 'yellow' but that just seems more like a cost cutting paint job than an actual intended color choice.

I would agree as it throws off the balance.

God, I love unexpected customs. This is a brilliantly creative idea and perfect execution. The replication of the skeleton graphics is top notch!

No one is jumping on this so I might get it for a steal like I did movie Shockwave.
