I'll agree to that. Just caught it again on cable. I ca nonly speculate how dark and elaborate this next one will be.

If Lady Liberty's head doesn't end up on a beach, I'll be mighty pissed.

Sweet. Rise was unexpectedly great (that Lithgow performance, I cried like a baby) so here's hoping the next one is at least as good.

Just keep Tim Burton far, FAR away from any more Apes films. Then it'll be OK.

I hope it becomes a trilogy and they have to call the third one "Start of the Planet of the Apes" or something.

Why does Justen Bieber pop up when I search for "Rise" not Netflix?

Unfortunately despite actually liking the Thade character. I doubt he will. But we may be surprised and there will be a random chimp somewhere called Thade. After all there was a "Bright Eyes" and a Cornelia. SO it isn't beyond them to put in little easter eggs like that.

Why couldnt Thade be in it? Sorry, Im not very knowledgeable on the Apes series. I know of the ones from the 70's but have never seen them the whole way through. The Mark Whalburg one is all I have seen. I just watched Rise about 15 min ago, remebered this thread and wanted to come look. GREAT movie. Deff looking forward to the sequal.
