Alright, my custom Classics Fortress Maximus is finished! Tons of pics here, but I wanted to show all angles and whatnot. Please see my "work in progress" thread for more info about design choices, parts, etc. Any constructive criticism, complimentary or otherwise, is welcome.

I'm also entertaining offers for him if you are interested. All parts integrate into both modes(no kibble!), and he is fully transformable without worry of paint wear (as long as you're careful...it's still a custom!).

Outstanding. The finished piece looks great, Robo. icon-ironhide.gif

Okay, I really like what you have done with this. The colors look great, and it shows a great deal of creativity in the execution.

Well done! icon-ironhide.gif

Wow. I'm blown away by the fact that everything is integrated in both modes. The city mode looks really great, and that couldn't have been an easy task. He looks great with G1 Scorponok there. The paintwork is impressively clean, and I'm really digging how much he's just bristling with guns.

The only thing I'm not totally sold on is the eyes. I'm impressed the Headmaster and all that, it's just the eyes. They look too big.

The city/battlestation mode looks better than it has any right to considering the toy you used. This is really great stuff.

Thanks everyone! Definitely appreciate the compliments and comments on the paint. I was wondering about that.

And just because I'm picky but I took the pics in a hurry, if there's any part that doesn't quite look "straight," like the ramps on the legs, or the arms in base mode, or the face/headmaster, they can be straightened up. The face can actually swivel, and the arms in base mode can be positioned lots of different ways. I just pictured what I think of as the "correct" transformation.

The waist cannons also have 5mm holes on the bottom-middle (and they attach to the waist with 5mm holes on the backs of the cannons) so they can be attached in different ways. The two red towers can also be plugged into holes in the big gray part of the city main body to be forward-facing cannons. The gun station also connects to the leg and the base via 5mm port and can be moved around. The cannons there also move up and down. And the wrist cannons connect with 5mm holes too. Lots and lots of possible variations, but I like what I have pictured the best.
