Yeah, all I need to do is post a video.

It sells itself.
Goblez
as stupid and irritating as it is. I wouldn't mind getting drunk and playing it to ruin a few friends opinions on star wars.

Oh this is amazing.

I'm just sad they didn't cloth sim my girl's dresses. icon-screamer.gif

Okay both those kinda cheered me up, I love how fun and goofy they are. I think I might have found the first Kinect game that I actually want.
Daytonus
I'm amused by the people in the YT comments fretting about Star Wars selling out.
Daytonus
I'm also amused by the exclamations appearing over their crotches. "GREAT!" *hip gyrates*

I am just loving this!

ok, so you guys can keep tabs on what I did for the game over the year and a half I worked on it (that made it into the final game):

3d models:
---
C-3PO
Stormtrooper
Clonetrooper
Jawas
Rancor crowd
B-1 Battle Droids
Mynoks
countless other low res character models that I'm not sure made it into the final game or not. mainly crowd and background stuff.

outfit designs:
---
3 female dance player characters (purple dress, orange twi'lek, death star gunner lolita)
twin twi'lek dancers
oola re-design

environment:
---
The pod racer hanger. Not sure if that cinematic made it to the final game or not.

I ended up focusing my efforts on Dance because that was the mode I could really get behind. I also had total freedom to create whatever character designs I wanted.

So much time was spent on making art that never went into this game (Like my General Grievous or my Slave Leia re-design). We spent most of the first year just trying to come up with a style for the game. That wasn't much fun, let me tell ya.

I'll post a link here with my updated portfolio when I'm done with it.

I thought this was supposed to be an on rails light saber fighter.

I thought this was supposed to be an on rails light saber fighter.

It has multiple modes.
HeyMickey
First Lucas meddles around and makes changes in his own movies, now he's hugging up Jamiroquai?

THAT'S GOING TOO FAR! icon-megs.gif
Nanite
There's the usual nerd ragez over this, but it looks like goofy fun to me.

The dance mode anyway, the game itself looks crappy.
Waspinator
I'm kind of surprised that something this goofy was made, considering the "EVERYTHING MUST BE CANON" stance Lucas usually takes.

This isn't an April Fools day prank?
Nyarlathotep
Apparently the Podracing and Rancor stuff isn't too bad either.
Ricky Spanish
It's gotten average to crap reviews. You can't slap the Star Wars brand on any old crap, they ought to get back to making good games again: Battlefront 3, Rogue Squadron IV and that lightsaber game.

I actually enjoyed watching it. Doubt I would enjoy playing it, but they did manage to make some awesome action sequences.

...

I finally, really want an X-Box 360 and Kinnect. Not going to get one. Of course, if I had the spare cash, I'd be tempted now to get the whole shebang for my brother-in-law and sister.

This has got to be hilarious to at least watch others play.

This is how most of us approached the game.

I think they did a bad job marketing it as a 'core game'. It's really just a game to pull out while having a party and have fun with.

I'm actually really enjoying seeing some of those cutscenes. Some great fights!
Waspinator
The "Empire Today" song is like a Star Wars version of Springtime for Hitler.
Otaku
I thought it was a spoof of YMCA?
Waspinator
Yeah, it's YMCA. I meant that it's like Springtime for Hitler in the sense that it's an absurdly cheery song about an evil empire.
