Deadpool has been completely different creatures in different universes. A lot of other Marvel characters' backstories just vary from universe to universe. But Deadpool; he's completely different in some alternate universes.

In one he's a chick.

In another he's a dog.

So in the TF SG universe, Deadpool can be a Transformer!

Can't it stand to reason he can be a robot from Cybertron in the SG Universe, since he can be a chick in one and a dog in another? If he can cross species on Earth, why not cross species on other planets??

Transformers and Marvel have crossed over before. So it can stand to reason that at least one of the Marvel universes can intersect with one of the TF universes in some way.

It kind of makes sense... since the whole ninja thing is about as ridiculous and overblown as the 90's EXTREEEEEME thing that Deadpool satires. There seems to be precedence for this.

The only issue I take with this is that I was always under the impression that Deadpool was meant to be more-or-less a good guy, or at least morally ambiguous. The profile given doesn't really seem to match up with what I've seen of Deadpool, which I will admit, isn't much.

Deadpool is cool, Drift isn't.

They're both absurdly over-used characters who started out cool but overstayed their welcome for a lot of fans, so it's certainly possible.

Actually, I wonder if it's giving FunPub too much credit to consider that they might actually have been thinking about that connection when they decided on this repaint.

This thread has merely made me even sadder that I can't find a Hasbro ML Deadpool for a decent price yet.
