T-t-t-t-translucent purple blocks.... Kre-O energon cubes??

(Yeah, I know, not what I should be focusing on, but this would be like the only time we got energon cube toy that were a decent scale for the rest of the line!)

Okay, I need that. That looks so awesome.
There's a solid black piece that could very well be the head. I assume it won't be solid black on the final release.

Judging by lack of wings, could be just a place holder for Kreon G1 Devastator, since these usually come with themselves.

Oh, good. I though I was SUPPOSED to be looking at the yellow-and-black-with-a-little-blue assembly up top and muttering 'WTF?' to myself.
(Wonderful--the wrecking ball is NOT attached to his crotch. Very good news.)

Entirely possible! On the other hand - after blowing up and brightening the image - it looks like none of the Kreon construction workers actually have
faces.

I bet that surrounding playset can be built up pretty awesome when Devastator isn't constructed.

Is that a mini-G1-Devastator in the bottom right? If so, that's soooo awesome.

The placeholder Kreons interest me. I'm hoping we see most of those humans replaced with actual Tfs. I'd hate for the ballance on Kreons to swing so badly towards human Kreons, since, well, who gives a crap about them?
The 'construction environment' looks underwhelming to say the least. Also I would be utterly SHOCKED if those base plates were really part of the toy -- they're just too vast, they're clearly just part of this display. This unfinished, prototype display.

(otherwise, he looks really neat -- though the fact that they've put him in a crouched pose doesn't help.)

I really hope this is the standard Hasbro holds to for future Devastators, because this is awesome.
I still like DotMRotF Devastator better, but I really like this too.

DotM, Devastator?
Anyway, I'm guessing this Kre-o set can be rebuilt into a bunch of little vehicles, right?

The Toy Fair UK report said something about that it could be assembled into three or four Constructicons in either robot or vehicle form. I don't quite remember, but yes.
I also welcome our new multicolored Constructicon overlords.

I'm sure I will like it after it gets an awesome stop motion commercial with the autobots being bastards
I wonder which other TF Kreons will be included?
There has to be more than just Devastator and the humans.

It's an interesting question. Certainly I'd guess what you're seeing is one human per vehicle. Hopefully there'd be one TF per human.

(The biggest set from last year came with 5 Kreons. 8 Kreons wouldn't be a COMPLETELY unreasonable amount.)

Heh, so little Kreon G1 Devastator can sit into the big Mecha Bayformers Devastator and drive it around like Megas XLR?
I don't like the set - quite basic compared to what it could have been, but the idea is neat. And one more Kreon to get!

They are too afraid to have them, since Prime is usually in the next package, eyeing them in a very unnerving way...

I really do hope it DOES have a cockpit for him, so I can just repurpose it as a mecha for Lego minifigs. If it doesn't, well, I can either build one or just use it as a non-piloted giant robot.

You can see the cockpit on the top of the red "excavator" body part, it's lined with grey. Heh, that could actually be considered a hommage to Action Master Devastator! The Constructicons built him but he is too small, so he built himself a giant exo-suit...

Btw, I think he transforms this way:
- Red excavator with claw and wrecking ball (forms body and left arm)
- Orange dumptruck (right leg)
- yellow front loader (left leg)
- green drill (right arm)
I am not sure what the 'tail' or third arm on his back becomes. Also, there is a small orange cement mixer in the set. And Kre-O energon cubes!
