I guess working with Just Add Water who already have announced two games is nice kick in the rear for the IP.
That, and the JAW have a liason who talks to the fans properly and doesn't belittle them. It's nice, especially with the fans having to go ages without anything to go on.
^ I've tried a couple of times and never made it all the way to the end. There are, though, a couple of really great stories in there that would make for great Jackson films. I'd love to see the story of Feanor and the Silmarils adapted into a couple of movies.
