I'm Christian Bocher. I'm portraying the character of Raymond Gunne, who portrays the character of Dr. Levant which is based on the character, uh, Daniel Jackson, portrayed by the actor Michael Shanks, originally portrayed by the actor James Spader in the feature film.

Stargate. In the orignal movie, the character of Daniel Jackson was played by James Spader. When Stargate SG1 came out, the role went to Micheal Shanks. Late in SG1's run, a joke-show was run in the Stargate universe called "Wormhole Extreme". That guy (Christian Bocher) plays the show's equivalent of Daniel Jackson. Simple enough.
Basically, the show had a show within the show that had knockoffs of the main characters. Both the show and the show within the show used different actors than the original movie. So that guy is an actor playing an actor who's playing a character whose actor is not the original actor.
Loved that ep SG1 had a ton of fun during the series

Shanks went to the same high school as my wife, and I found out via coworker where his parents live.
