Cliffjumper looks like a metallic red in the new photos, and I love the way his back looks.

I can't wait for him & BB!

From the back, Bumblebee and Cliffjumper have very reasonable proportions. I guess it's really just the hood skirt in front that makes their legs look so bizarre.
Powered Convoy
I think they look flipping awesome and I can't wait for them.

I do feel bad for Bumblebee though, as I'm certainly going to be fiddling with Cliffjumper more than him. Now if only they'd change their IDW designs to match these figures. icon-silverbolt.gif

Hrn. I downloaded the "update" to my Transformers Defender, but I haven't noticed any changes yet.

Aha! He walks on top of the windows that aren't currently active, instead of behind them. I believe that's new.

Which link is the update?
I can't figure it out.

And what's the extras?

It was this link on the Device Label page I linked on the first page.
⇒トランスフォーマーデスクトップアクセサリー Ver.1.0.0.2
 「Microsoft Visual C++ 2005」同梱版 2009.11.20

The other extras are the owner's manual, etc.

Yeah, I just hovered my mouse over the links on the page until the browser told me I was looking at a downloadable executable file instead of a PDF.

Awesome!
Thanks!

Hironori apparently is one of Takara's 'domestic' designers, and worked on things exlcusive to Japan in the Revenge line. Like the transforming gun for Buster Optimus Prime and EZ Collection Devastator. He mentions how he wanted to make the Legends Devastator turn into vehicles, small robots, and the combined form.

He also worked on all the Masterpiece figures except for MP-3 Starscream. And speaks of how 2010 is a significant year in Transformers mythology (for Japan) and indicates that this may influence the next Masterpiece figure - or something akin to that.

Oh yeah, with each new shot I'm glad I switched my preorder to Cliffjumper. Really hope he's in stock soon.
