Full Version: What can we expect for Spring & Summer 2010?

Okay we have saw some new molds such as Bludgeon and new repaints which will probably be released during the first few months of 2010 but those can't sustain us until the new line comes out during the Fall.

I fully expect the movie line will be dragged out again with the majority being repaints. And maybe Animated will return in small numbers with more as yet unknown repaints. But we can't live on repaints - I wonder how many new molds that we don't know about already will be released before the next line?

I suspect we'll be getting the first sightings for figures like Wideload, Dirge, and Bludgeon before the end of this year, and figures like Skystalker, Brawn and Mindwipe are supposedly set for release in early 2010 (February or March, maybe January). Beyond them, we've got plenty of announced guys who don't have announced release dates, and I suspect that between them and the inevitable unknown repaints, we'll be seeing plenty of Movie figures. I wouldn't mind if we had a lull over the summer, however - it'd give my wallet the chance to catch its breath.

New Animated stuff's being sighted now - Freeway Jazz and Electrostatic Soundwave are supposedly available. Odds are we'll see the last few vestiges hit shelves in the next few months.

it might not be a bad idea to have a few months without product.

Hasbro is a business that exists to provide product in exchange for money, people's personal bank accounts do not figure into the equation.

It would be a very bad idea from a business standpoint.

We've got enough announced toys and probably unannounced redecos for ROTF to last through the summer. At that point, the mysterious new mainline and/or Universe will take over.
