I already have regular Blurr and Starscream so I won't be picking up their repaints. I don't own any version of deluxe Bumblebee so I may pick up Wasp someday.

(sorry, I'm on my Wii Internet browser right now so I couldn't post any links or images)

I wonder if we're getting that Blur.

I wonder if his bio states how he got out of the compactor.

I am really looking forward to the Thundercracker. Unlike Skywarp, his colors look to be very cartoon accurate (Skywarp's were off (gray?) and missing details).

Hey, kids, it's dead Blurr! icon-fire.gif (Well, dead in the "Turned gray" sense.). That's an awesome mold (And this from someone who wasn't 100 percent behind Animated at first.)

Funny how I excited I am for many of these...I think the overload of Movie toys has gotten me craving other designs. I don't think I'll get Thundercracker, though...I gave Transypoo my Starscream to replace his version, which had a scratched-up face, and if I get another version of Starscream, it'll likely be the Skywarp I keep spotting (Not hot on that mold, but metallic paints, ooh.). But that armored Prime is so very bought...that deluxe mold was one of my favorite things from the line, but I preferred the idea of a clean version.
Rosicrucian
It's actually kind of nice seeing how huge the Wingblade accessories look on the retooled Deluxe Optimus Prime, as it bodes well for how they'll look attached to the Voyager.

Or Animated Drift!

You choose! Make your own Sci-fi fantasy.

More like Black Lantern Blurr.
ZacWilliam1
I'm not one for Animated repaints but that Blurr is too good to miss. Very cool.

Did we know about 'Toxic Oil Slick'? Seems like he's done in Show accurate colors.

Also, I wonder if they'll try to explain Wasp's head as this being him while he had Bumblebee's body?
Nutjob R/T
Hmm. Is that Blur grey with black paint, or black with grey paint...?

Either way, I wanted to get a second Blurr for kitbashing. Now we won't have to worry about priming (ha!) over that blue.

I think Hasbro stock photos popped up at TFW2005 a while ago.
Thylacine2000

I wish Hasbro would remove the BB mouth paint-app. That alone would make the head look a lot better as Wasp.

Of course, it's inevitable that Reprolabels will release a set to Wasp it up a bit better. Heck, they already have the die cuts ready for that mold.

Uh, Bumblebee's mouth isn't a paint app. It's sculpted on.

Dig em. Prolly get Wasp, and wait for a Repro label to fix him up. And likeing Vortex Blurr, prolly get him and call him animate Silverstreak or something. Oh Rodimus and Arcee, why do you taunt me so! Get on my shelves!

Mudbuster is still way too close to the original, They really should have selected a color other than green for his base. And I've never picked up a SS mold yet, maybe the time has come.
fangwing
You know how Armada Blurr was Silverbolt in Japan?

This strikes me as a roundabout homage to that. Either way, oooooooh.
Canthros
Vortex Blurr seems to have Shockwave's Longarm colorscheme. That seems weird to me.
ZacWilliam1
That Blurr is almost good enough to forgive them for not repainting that Oil Slick in Cy-Kill colors. ALMOST. icon-hotrod.gif

Razorsaw
My biggest disappointment is that Wasp has a 'Con symbol.

Gonna have to order a reprolabel.
Rust
I read that Bulkhead as "Mythbuster" for a minute...

Seriously, we're getting all these Gobot homages and not this one? It's way too obvious for Hasbro to have not seen it.

Which means it'll probably be some sort of exclusive, which means I'd never own it.

But Wasp looks good, the head bugs me, but not as much as I thought it would.

Vortex Blurr is nice, curious about his bio, a Yellow and Black repaint would have been cool, just saying. icon-hotrod.gif

Holy crap! I can't believe I forgot about Rodimus! I thought he was going to be a Voyager, I'm definitely going to buy him now.
Sso02V
Gonna guess that Blurr picked up some kind of space radiation while running back to Cybertron, possibly giving him the ability to teleport or something. That doesn't mean I'm not annoyed about not getting Veldt-Racer Blurr.
Destron D-69
I'd get that blurr if i saw it... can't be a dead blue cube if he's all sexy black...

ZOMBIE BLURRR ...

wouldn't it just suck if he was the slow kinda zombie icon-fire.gif

Wouldnt a slow zombie blurr be like 'regular speed' everyone else?
Internet Jesus
Black Lantern Blurr is lovely, but I'll stick with Rodimus, Arcee, ES Soundwave and Wingblade Optimus.

First time I've seen Wingblade Optimus. Since the accessories are also compatible with Voyager Prime (as is my understanding), Mini-Op will be repainted into Toxitron.
Silent_Magnus
Having just finished Masterforce. I'm pretty pumped for Wingblade Optimus.
Kinda wish he had some sort of chest plate though.

I'm more disappointed that he gets nothing on his feet. I'd like for him to have been a little taller. Still, I think it looks great. I'm also pretty stoked to finally get an Animated Optimus with something resembling a trailer (that doesn't turn from a truck into a glove...).
soundman006
now I need to add a this blurr to my list caz he looks so cool! icon-bee.gif icon-hotrod.gif icon-ironhide.gif
Spark
My biggest disappointment is that we probably won't get that Blurr.

Just give me Rodimus Minor, Arcee, and Wingblade Prime, and I'll be a happy camper. I wouldn't mind the Voyager Bumblebee and Blackout, but they seem tenuous...
lastmaximal
Only Blurr recolor I'd be after is a TT Cheetor one. Although these colors look nice too.

You really shouldn't have.

At any rate, I think I may make him my Animated Mirage. I'd been wanting Blurr to be repainted into Mirage, and while these aren't Mirage's colors, they do look very good (although not very Blurr).
Axaday
So now that we have 4 big Seekers, won't they SURELY get Ramjet to market?
Powered Convoy
One would hope but they've never given any indication of such. I think it would have made a nice SDCC exclusive last summer.

Isnt Electrostatic Mirage in these colors, more or less?
Powered Convoy
Electro Disruptor Mirage is transparent, white, transparent black, and red. They're similar in tone.

All these prefix names have me parsing Rodimus's name as a same-character redeco of a guy named Minor.
MEGATRON I
We're seeing an awful lot of toys for a line they can't find any room for...
Detective Fork
I think they just releases black Blurr as a nod to the Batmobile.

Why wouldn't they do the Mach 5 (and via that, Crasher/Fracture) instead?
Nanite
Very cool!

My problem with this is my brain goes into speculation mode and I imagine all the other cool animated toys that we might be getting.

bat-blurr I like it
Stackups immy
Blurr and Prime both look kickass...and im drooling over Roddy....so cant wait! =]

My only hope is that someone like Fansproject makes a head for Wasp, or Reprolabels makes a "face" sticker...other than that i love how the green looks on that mold.
Pennpenn
Interesting repaints. It is interesting that, unlike a lot of other TF lines, repaints in Animated tend to be a different appearance of prior characters instead of the standard of making new characters for said paint jobs.

except for y'know, seekers and bumblebee to wasp, ironhide, but yeah essentially.

Ironhide gets his own head.
NightViper
And the Seekers are just clones of Starscream, which one could use to argue that they aren't new characters either.
Rescue Munky
It'd be cool if one of those third party companies released that Helmet Swindle gave to Sunstorm.

I'm curious as to why it was an either/or on Wasp & Ironhide getting a new head/being stuck as a plain repaint - both or neither, yes, but not one or the other. If they expect to make a profit on Ironhide, then surely they could expect to make a profit on Wasp with a cartoon-accurate head...

For Ironhide I can only assume it was easier because he was planned at the same time as Ratchet's Cybertronian figure, and thus it's quite likely that both heads are on the sprue. As a result, Ironhide isn't a 'retool' in the strictest sense, while Wasp would be.
