I already have regular Blurr and Starscream so I won't be picking up their repaints. I don't own any version of deluxe Bumblebee so I may pick up Wasp someday.

http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers...er-package.htmlI wonder if we're getting that Blur.
I wonder if his bio states how he got out of the compactor.
I am really looking forward to the Thundercracker. Unlike Skywarp, his colors look to be very cartoon accurate (Skywarp's were off (gray?) and missing details).

Hey, kids, it's dead Blurr!

(Well, dead in the "Turned gray" sense.). That's an awesome mold (And this from someone who wasn't 100 percent behind Animated at first.)
Funny how I excited I am for many of these...I think the overload of Movie toys has gotten me craving other designs. I don't think I'll get Thundercracker, though...I gave Transypoo my Starscream to replace his version, which had a scratched-up face, and if I get another version of Starscream, it'll likely be the Skywarp I keep spotting (Not hot on that mold, but metallic paints, ooh.). But that armored Prime is so very bought...that deluxe mold was one of my favorite things from the line, but I preferred the idea of a clean version.

It's actually kind of nice seeing how huge the Wingblade accessories look on the retooled Deluxe Optimus Prime, as it bodes well for how they'll look attached to the Voyager.

Did we know about 'Toxic Oil Slick'? Seems like he's done in Show accurate colors.
Also, I wonder if they'll try to explain Wasp's head as this being him while he had Bumblebee's body?

Hmm. Is that Blur grey with black paint, or black with grey paint...?
Either way, I wanted to get a second Blurr for kitbashing. Now we won't have to worry about priming (ha!) over that blue.

Of course, it's inevitable that Reprolabels will release a set to Wasp it up a bit better. Heck, they already have the die cuts ready for that mold.

Dig em. Prolly get Wasp, and wait for a Repro label to fix him up. And likeing Vortex Blurr, prolly get him and call him animate Silverstreak or something. Oh Rodimus and Arcee, why do you taunt me so! Get on my shelves!
Mudbuster is still way too close to the original, They really should have selected a color other than green for his base. And I've never picked up a SS mold yet, maybe the time has come.

Seriously, we're getting all these Gobot homages and not this one? It's way too obvious for Hasbro to have not seen it.
Which means it'll probably be some sort of exclusive, which means I'd never own it.
But Wasp looks good, the head bugs me, but not as much as I thought it would.
Vortex Blurr is nice, curious about his bio, a Yellow and Black repaint would have been cool, just saying.
Holy crap! I can't believe I forgot about Rodimus! I thought he was going to be a Voyager, I'm definitely going to buy him now.

Gonna guess that Blurr picked up some kind of space radiation while running back to Cybertron, possibly giving him the ability to teleport or something. That doesn't mean I'm not annoyed about not getting Veldt-Racer Blurr.

Black Lantern Blurr is lovely, but I'll stick with Rodimus, Arcee, ES Soundwave and Wingblade Optimus.
First time I've seen Wingblade Optimus. Since the accessories are also compatible with Voyager Prime (as is my understanding), Mini-Op will be repainted into Toxitron.

I'm more disappointed that he gets nothing on his feet. I'd like for him to have been a little taller. Still, I think it looks great. I'm also pretty stoked to finally get an Animated Optimus with something resembling a trailer (that doesn't turn from a truck into a glove...).

Interesting repaints. It is interesting that, unlike a lot of other TF lines, repaints in Animated tend to be a different appearance of prior characters instead of the standard of making new characters for said paint jobs.

I'm curious as to why it was an either/or on Wasp & Ironhide getting a new head/being stuck as a plain repaint - both or neither, yes, but not one or the other. If they expect to make a profit on Ironhide, then surely they could expect to make a profit on Wasp with a cartoon-accurate head...

For Ironhide I can only assume it was easier because he was planned at the same time as Ratchet's Cybertronian figure, and thus it's quite likely that both heads are on the sprue. As a result, Ironhide isn't a 'retool' in the strictest sense, while Wasp
would be.
