Last year was the 15th anniversary to one of the coolest and most unique animated movies around! still is awesome after all these years on Blu-Ray and in theatrical 3D. I remembered seeing this when was 12 back in 1993 and was blown away by the amazing animation, memorable songs, and storyline done by story-writer and producer Tim Burton. Sure over the last 12 years this has been merchandised by Goths at Hot-Topic and kind of ruined that but don't let that fool you, it's one of the finest and most original animated movies ever and one of Disney's best.
I even rode on the Nightmare Before Xmas edition Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland last month during the Halloween season.

I heartly agree, now that's a great avatar you got. I use to play that Rescue Rangers game all the time when i was 10 back in 1991.

I'm pretty sure Greengoblin's a spam bot. He never responds to people's criticism about him and when he does repsond it's about their avatar and he's always accurately saying his age in what year he was playing/watching whatever he's aspiesizing about at that current moment. His posts read like a computer program.
So, for the good of the Allspark I must ask you Greengoblin...
Are you Skynet?

Considering it's a property that consists of, what, the one movie, some spinoff movie, and 2 cameos in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, it has really kept itself in the limelight pretty well over the years. It's hard to believe it's still as popular as it is fifteen years later.
It's a good movie, but with the attention span of the public when it comes to entertainment being equivalent to that of an epileptic goldfish...

But how would you pronounce WTCHGG?

Also, this thread's title confuses me. Why is it punctuated? And why the year? Is there another Nightmare Before Xmas movie that I don't know about?
On topic, Nightmare is a movie that I've always tried reeeeeally hard to like, but every time I watch it I fall asleep. It's like NyQuill on DVD.

It had a spin-off video game, "Oogi Boogie's Revenge" or something like that, in addition to the Kingdom Hearts crossovers, but I don't think there was a spin-off
movie.
As for "Nightmare Before Christmas", I watch it every October out of tradition and will always like it. Didn't like "Corpse Bride" nearly as much (thought it was pretty average). I think it suffered from the lack of Henry Selick's direction, personally. Burton isn't too good at directing stop-motion where-as that's Selick's specialty ("Coraline" was fantastic).

It was our halftime/competition show for the whole fall season. 2002-03, I -think-.

You're right, it's the video game. For some reason I though that was a movie. Probably because Disney has a habit of unnecessary sequels, and I thought that was one of them.

I agree. Not the worst form of spam I think.
A friend of mine was a huge fan of the movie, and bought all the merchandise long before it was popular. He had to stop wearing the stuff when he went to rock shows, because everybody was wearing that stuff and would want to talk to him, which he didn't like.
I think it is a really cool movie. It is strange how it has become so popular. There is even a "Jack & Sally" wedding theme. Weird.

Nice costumes, but they're not into the characters at all. They look bored.
I used to have a copy of the movie, as well as Corps Bride, but I think my sis took them when she moved away, or they're packed up and put away some place. :/ I need to watch them again.
